Joshua 10:2-5 וייראו That they feared מאד greatly, כי because עיר city, גדולה a great גבעון Gibeon כאחת as one ערי cities, הממלכה of the royal וכי and because היא it גדולה greater מן than העי Ai, וכל and all אנשׁיה the men גברים׃ thereof mighty.

3 H7971 וישׁלח sent H139 אדני צדק Wherefore Adoni-zedek H4428 מלך king H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem H413 אל unto H1944 הוהם Hoham H4428 מלך king H2275 חברון of Hebron, H413 ואל and unto H6502 פראם Piram H4428 מלך king H3412 ירמות of Jarmuth, H413 ואל and unto H3309 יפיע Japhia H4428 מלך king H3923 לכישׁ of Lachish, H413 ואל and unto H1688 דביר Debir H4428 מלך king H5700 עגלון of Eglon, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

4 H5927 עלו Come up H413 אלי unto H5826 ועזרני me, and help H5221 ונכה me, that we may smite H853 את H1391 גבעון Gibeon: H3588 כי for H7999 השׁלימה it hath made peace H854 את with H3091 יהושׁע Joshua H854 ואת and with H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

5 H622 ויאספו gathered themselves together, H5927 ויעלו and went up, H2568 חמשׁת Therefore the five H4428 מלכי kings H567 האמרי of the Amorites, H4428 מלך the king H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem, H4428 מלך the king H2275 חברון of Hebron, H4428 מלך the king H3412 ירמות of Jarmuth, H4428 מלך the king H3923 לכישׁ of Lachish, H4428 מלך the king H5700 עגלון of Eglon, H1992 הם they H3605 וכל and all H4264 מחניהם their hosts, H2583 ויחנו and encamped H5921 על before H1391 גבעון Gibeon, H3898 וילחמו and made war H5921 עליה׃ against
