Jeremiah 6:16-20 כה Thus אמר saith יהוה the LORD, עמדו Stand על ye in דרכים the ways, וראו and see, ושׁאלו and ask לנתבות paths, עולם for the old אי where זה where דרך way, הטוב the good ולכו and walk בה ומצאו therein, and ye shall find מרגוע rest לנפשׁכם for your souls. ויאמרו But they said, לא We will not נלך׃ walk

19 H8085 שׁמעי Hear, H776 הארץ O earth: H2009 הנה behold, H595 אנכי I H935 מביא will bring H7451 רעה evil H413 אל upon H5971 העם people, H2088 הזה this H6529 פרי the fruit H4284 מחשׁבותם of their thoughts, H3588 כי because H5921 על unto H1697 דברי my words, H3808 לא they have not H7181 הקשׁיבו hearkened H8451 ותורתי nor to my law, H3988 וימאסו׃ but rejected

20 H4100 למה To what H2088 זה purpose H3828 לי לבונה there to me incense H7614 משׁבא H935 תבוא cometh H7070 וקנה cane H2896 הטוב and the sweet H776 מארץ country?
