Jeremiah 36:1-6 ויהי And it came to pass בשׁנה year הרביעת in the fourth ליהויקים of Jehoiakim בן the son יאשׁיהו of Josiah מלך king יהודה of Judah, היה came הדבר word הזה this אל unto ירמיהו Jeremiah מאת יהוה the LORD, לאמר׃ saying,

1 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H8141 בשׁנה year H7243 הרביעת in the fourth H3079 ליהויקים of Jehoiakim H1121 בן the son H2977 יאשׁיהו of Josiah H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H1961 היה came H1697 הדבר word H2088 הזה this H413 אל unto H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H853 מאת H3068 יהוה the LORD, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

2 H3947 קח Take H4039 לך מגלת thee a roll H5612 ספר of a book, H3789 וכתבת and write H413 אליה therein H853 את H3605 כל all H1697 הדברים the words H834 אשׁר that H1696 דברתי I have spoken H413 אליך unto H5921 על thee against H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H5921 ועל and against H3063 יהודה Judah, H5921 ועל and against H3605 כל all H1471 הגוים the nations, H3117 מיום from the day H1696 דברתי I spoke H413 אליך unto H3117 מימי thee, from the days H2977 יאשׁיהו of Josiah, H5704 ועד even unto H3117 היום day. H2088 הזה׃ this

3 H194 אולי It may be that H8085 ישׁמעו will hear H1004 בית the house H3063 יהודה of Judah H853 את H3605 כל all H7451 הרעה the evil H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H2803 חשׁב purpose H6213 לעשׂות to do H4616 להם למען unto them; that H7725 ישׁובו they may return H376 אישׁ every man H1870 מדרכו way; H7451 הרעה from his evil H5545 וסלחתי that I may forgive H5771 לעונם their iniquity H2403 ולחטאתם׃ and their sin.

4 H7121 ויקרא called H3414 ירמיהו Then Jeremiah H853 את H1263 ברוך Baruch H1121 בן the son H5374 נריה of Neriah: H3789 ויכתב wrote H1263 ברוך and Baruch H6310 מפי from the mouth H3414 ירמיהו of Jeremiah H853 את H3605 כל all H1697 דברי the words H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר which H1696 דבר he had spoken H413 אליו unto H5921 על him, upon H4039 מגלת a roll H5612 ספר׃ of a book.

5 H6680 ויצוה commanded H3414 ירמיהו And Jeremiah H853 את H1263 ברוך Baruch, H559 לאמר saying, H589 אני I H6113 עצור shut up; H3808 לא H3201 אוכל H935 לבוא go H1004 בית into the house H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD:

6 H935 ובאת Therefore go H859 אתה thou, H7121 וקראת and read H4039 במגלה in the roll, H834 אשׁר which H3789 כתבת thou hast written H6310 מפי from my mouth, H853 את H1697 דברי the words H3068 יהוה of the LORD H241 באזני in the ears H5971 העם of the people H1004 בית house H3068 יהוה in the LORD's H3117 ביום day: H6685 צום upon the fasting H1571 וגם and also H241 באזני them in the ears H3605 כל of all H3063 יהודה Judah H935 הבאים that come H5892 מעריהם out of their cities.
