Jeremiah 18

  1 H1697 הדבר The word H834 אשׁר which H1961 היה came H413 אל to H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H853 מאת   H3068 יהוה the LORD, H559 לאמר׃ saying,
  2 H6965 קום Arise, H3381 וירדת and go down H1004 בית house, H3335 היוצר to the potter's H8033 ושׁמה and there H8085 אשׁמיעך I will cause thee to hear H853 את   H1697 דברי׃ my words.
  3 H3381 וארד Then I went down H1004 בית house, H3335 היוצר to the potter's H2009 והנהו and, behold, H6213 עשׂה he wrought H4399 מלאכה a work H5921 על on H70 האבנים׃ the wheels.
  4 H7843 ונשׁחת was marred H3627 הכלי And the vessel H834 אשׁר that H1931 הוא he H6213 עשׂה made H2563 בחמר of clay H3027 ביד in the hand H3335 היוצר of the potter: H7725 ושׁב it again H6213 ויעשׂהו so he made H3627 כלי vessel, H312 אחר another H834 כאשׁר as H3474 ישׁר good H5869 בעיני seemed H3335 היוצר to the potter H6213 לעשׂות׃ to make
  5 H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר Then the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אלי to H559 לאמור׃ me, saying,
  6 H3335 הכיוצר potter? H2088 הזה with you as this H3808 לא cannot H3201 אוכל cannot H6213 לעשׂות I do H1004 לכם בית O house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD. H2009 הנה Behold, H2563 כחמר as the clay H3027 ביד hand, H3335 היוצר in the potter's H3651 כן so H859 אתם ye H3027 בידי in mine hand, H1004 בית O house H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.
  7 H7281 רגע instant H1696 אדבר I shall speak H5921 על concerning H1471 גוי a nation, H5921 ועל and concerning H4467 ממלכה a kingdom, H5428 לנתושׁ to pluck up, H5422 ולנתוץ and to pull down, H6 ולהאביד׃ and to destroy
  8 H7725 ושׁב turn H1471 הגוי nation, H1931 ההוא If that H7451 מרעתו from their evil, H834 אשׁר whom H1696 דברתי I have pronounced, H5921 עליו against H5162 ונחמתי I will repent H5921 על of H7451 הרעה the evil H834 אשׁר that H2803 חשׁבתי I thought H6213 לעשׂות׃ to do
  9 H7281 ורגע And instant H1696 אדבר I shall speak H5921 על concerning H1471 גוי a nation, H5921 ועל and concerning H4467 ממלכה a kingdom, H1129 לבנת to build H5193 ולנטע׃ and to plant
  10 H6213 ועשׂה If it do H7451 הרעה evil H5869 בעיני in my sight, H1115 לבלתי not H8085 שׁמע that it obey H6963 בקולי my voice, H5162 ונחמתי then I will repent H5921 על of H2896 הטובה the good, H834 אשׁר wherewith H559 אמרתי I said H3190 להיטיב I would benefit H853 אותו׃  
  11 H6258 ועתה Now H559 אמר to, speak H4994 נא therefore go H413 אל to H376 אישׁ the men H3063 יהודה of Judah, H5921 ועל and to H3427 יושׁבי the inhabitants H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem, H559 לאמר saying, H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H2009 הנה Behold, H595 אנכי I H3335 יוצר frame H5921 עליכם against H7451 רעה evil H2803 וחשׁב you, and devise H5921 עליכם against H4284 מחשׁבה a device H7725 שׁובו you: return H4994 נא ye now H376 אישׁ every one H1870 מדרכו way, H7451 הרעה from his evil H3190 והיטיבו good. H1870 דרכיכם and make your ways H4611 ומעלליכם׃ and your doings
  12 H559 ואמרו And they said, H2976 נואשׁ There is no hope: H3588 כי but H310 אחרי after H4284 מחשׁבותינו our own devices, H1980 נלך we will walk H376 ואישׁ and we will every one H8307 שׁררות the imagination H3820 לבו heart. H7451 הרע of his evil H6213 נעשׂה׃ do
  13 H3651 לכן Therefore H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H7592 שׁאלו Ask H4994 נא ye now H1471 בגוים among the heathen, H4310 מי who H8085 שׁמע hath heard H428 כאלה such H8186 שׁעררת horrible thing. H6213 עשׂתה hath done H3966 מאד a very H1330 בתולת things: the virgin H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel
  14 H5800 היעזב Will leave H6697 מצור from the rock H7704 שׂדי of the field? H7950 שׁלג the snow H3844 לבנון of Lebanon H518 אם   H5428 ינתשׁו be forsaken? H4325 מים waters H2114 זרים that come from another place H7119 קרים shall the cold H5140 נוזלים׃ flowing
  15 H3588 כי Because H7911 שׁכחני hath forgotten H5971 עמי my people H7723 לשׁוא to vanity, H6999 יקטרו me, they have burned incense H3782 ויכשׁלום and they have caused them to stumble H1870 בדרכיהם in their ways H7635 שׁבילי paths, H5769 עולם the ancient H1980 ללכת to walk H5410 נתיבות in paths, H1870 דרך a way H3808 לא not H5549 סלולה׃ cast up;
  16 H7760 לשׂום To make H776 ארצם their land H8047 לשׁמה desolate, H8292 שׁרוקת hissing; H5769 עולם a perpetual H3605 כל every one H5674 עובר that passeth H5921 עליה thereby H8074 ישׁם shall be astonished, H5110 ויניד and wag H7218 בראשׁו׃ his head.
  17 H7307 כרוח wind H6921 קדים them as with an east H6327 אפיצם I will scatter H6440 לפני before H341 אויב the enemy; H6203 ערף them the back, H3808 ולא and not H6440 פנים the face, H7200 אראם I will show H3117 ביום in the day H343 אידם׃ of their calamity.
  18 H559 ויאמרו Then said H1980 לכו they, Come, H2803 ונחשׁבה and let us devise H5921 על against H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah; H4284 מחשׁבות devices H3588 כי for H3808 לא shall not H6 תאבד perish H8451 תורה the law H3548 מכהן from the priest, H6098 ועצה nor counsel H2450 מחכם from the wise, H1697 ודבר nor the word H5030 מנביא from the prophet. H1980 לכו Come, H5221 ונכהו and let us smite H3956 בלשׁון him with the tongue, H408 ואל and let us not H7181 נקשׁיבה give heed H413 אל to H3605 כל any H1697 דבריו׃ of his words.
  19 H7181 הקשׁיבה Give heed H3068 יהוה me, O LORD, H413 אלי to H8085 ושׁמע and hearken H6963 לקול to the voice H3401 יריבי׃ of them that contend
  20 H7999 הישׁלם be recompensed H8478 תחת for H2896 טובה good? H7451 רעה Shall evil H3588 כי for H3738 כרו they have digged H7745 שׁוחה a pit H5315 לנפשׁי for my soul. H2142 זכר Remember H5975 עמדי that I stood H6440 לפניך before H1696 לדבר thee to speak H5921 עליהם for H2896 טובה good H7725 להשׁיב them, to turn away H853 את   H2534 חמתך thy wrath H1992 מהם׃  
  21 H3651 לכן Therefore H5414 תן deliver up H853 את   H1121 בניהם their children H7458 לרעב to the famine, H5064 והגרם and pour out H5921 על their by H3027 ידי the force H2719 חרב of the sword; H1961 ותהינה be H802 נשׁיהם and let their wives H7909 שׁכלות bereaved of their children, H490 ואלמנות and widows; H376 ואנשׁיהם and let their men H1961 יהיו be H2026 הרגי put H4194 מות to death; H970 בחוריהם their young men H5221 מכי slain H2719 חרב by the sword H4421 במלחמה׃ in battle.
  22 H8085 תשׁמע be heard H2201 זעקה Let a cry H1004 מבתיהם from their houses, H3588 כי when H935 תביא thou shalt bring H5921 עליהם upon H1416 גדוד a troop H6597 פתאם suddenly H3588 כי them: for H3738 כרו they have digged H7882 שׁיחה   H3920 ללכדני to take H6341 ופחים snares H2934 טמנו me, and hid H7272 לרגלי׃ for my feet.
  23 H859 ואתה thou H3068 יהוה Yet, LORD, H3045 ידעת knowest H853 את   H3605 כל all H6098 עצתם their counsel H5921 עלי against H4194 למות me to slay H408 אל not H3722 תכפר forgive H5921 על   H5771 עונם their iniquity, H2403 וחטאתם their sin H6440 מלפניך from thy sight, H408 אל neither H4229 תמחי blot out H1961 והיו but let them be H3782 מכשׁלים overthrown H6440 לפניך before H6256 בעת with them in the time H639 אפך of thine anger. H6213 עשׂה׃ thee; deal
