2 H834 אשׁר To whom H1961 היה came H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אליו H3117 בימי in the days H2977 יאשׁיהו of Josiah H1121 בן the son H526 אמון of Amon H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H7969 בשׁלשׁ in the thirteenth H6240 עשׂרה in the thirteenth H8141 שׁנה year H4427 למלכו׃ of his reign.

3 H1961 ויהי It came H3117 בימי also in the days H3079 יהויקים of Jehoiakim H1121 בן the son H2977 יאשׁיהו of Josiah H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H5704 עד unto H8552 תם the end H6249 עשׁתי of the eleventh H6240 עשׂרה of the eleventh H8141 שׁנה year H6667 לצדקיהו of Zedekiah H1121 בן the son H2977 יאשׁיהו of Josiah H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H5704 עד unto H1540 גלות the carrying away H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem H2320 בחדשׁ month. 4 H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר Then the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אלי unto H559 לאמר׃ me, saying,

5 H2962 בטרם Before H3335 אצורך I formed H990 בבטן thee in the belly H3045 ידעתיך I knew H2962 ובטרם thee; and before H3318 תצא thou camest forth H7358 מרחם out of the womb H6942 הקדשׁתיך I sanctified H5030 נביא thee a prophet H1471 לגוים unto the nations. H5414 נתתיך׃ thee, I ordained

6 H559 ואמר Then said H162 אהה I, Ah, H136 אדני Lord H3069 יהוה GOD! H2009 הנה behold, H3808 לא H3045 ידעתי H1696 דבר speak: H3588 כי for H5288 נער a child. H595 אנכי׃ I

7 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה But the LORD H413 אלי unto H408 אל not, H559 תאמר me, Say H5288 נער a child: H595 אנכי I H3588 כי for H5921 על to H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H7971 אשׁלחך I shall send H1980 תלך thou shalt go H853 ואת H3605 כל thee, and whatsoever H834 אשׁר thee, and whatsoever H6680 אצוך I command H1696 תדבר׃ thee thou shalt speak.

8 H408 אל Be not H3372 תירא afraid H6440 מפניהם of their faces: H3588 כי for H854 אתך with H589 אני I H5337 להצלך thee to deliver H5002 נאם thee, saith H3069 יהוה׃

9 H7971 וישׁלח put forth H3068 יהוה Then the LORD H853 את H3027 ידו his hand, H5060 ויגע and touched H5921 על and touched H6310 פי my mouth. H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אלי unto H2009 הנה me, Behold, H5414 נתתי I have put H1697 דברי my words H6310 בפיך׃ in thy mouth.

10 H7200 ראה See, H6485 הפקדתיך set H3117 היום day H2088 הזה I have this H5921 על thee over H1471 הגוים the nations H5921 ועל and over H4467 הממלכות the kingdoms, H5428 לנתושׁ to root out, H5422 ולנתוץ and to pull down, H6 ולהאביד and to destroy, H2040 ולהרוס and to throw down, H1129 לבנות to build, H5193 ולנטוע׃ and to plant.

11 H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר Moreover the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אלי unto H559 לאמר me, saying, H4100 מה what H859 אתה thou? H7200 ראה seest H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah, H559 ואמר And I said, H4731 מקל a rod H8247 שׁקד of an almond tree. H589 אני I H7200 ראה׃ see

12 H559 ויאמר Then said H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אלי unto H3190 היטבת me, Thou hast well H7200 לראות seen: H3588 כי for H8245 שׁקד will hasten H589 אני I H5921 על will hasten H1697 דברי my word H6213 לעשׂתו׃ to perform

13 H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר And the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אלי unto H8145 שׁנית me the second time, H559 לאמר saying, H4100 מה What H859 אתה thou? H7200 ראה seest H559 ואמר And I said, H5518 סיר pot; H5301 נפוח a seething H589 אני I H7200 ראה see H6440 ופניו and the face H6440 מפני thereof toward H6828 צפונה׃ the north.

14 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה Then the LORD H413 אלי unto H6828 מצפון H6605 תפתח shall break forth H7451 הרעה an evil H5921 על upon H3605 כל all H3427 ישׁבי the inhabitants H776 הארץ׃ of the land.

15 H3588 כי For, H2005 הנני H7121 קרא I will call H3605 לכל all H4940 משׁפחות the families H4467 ממלכות of the kingdoms H6828 צפונה of the north, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H935 ובאו and they shall come, H5414 ונתנו and they shall set H376 אישׁ every one H3678 כסאו his throne H6607 פתח at the entering H8179 שׁערי of the gates H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem, H5921 ועל and against H3605 כל all H2346 חומתיה the walls H5439 סביב thereof round about, H5921 ועל and against H3605 כל all H5892 ערי the cities H3063 יהודה׃ of Judah.

16 H1696 ודברתי And I will utter H4941 משׁפטי my judgments H854 אותם H5921 על against them touching H3605 כל all H7451 רעתם their wickedness, H834 אשׁר who H5800 עזבוני have forsaken H6999 ויקטרו me, and have burned incense H430 לאלהים gods, H312 אחרים unto other H7812 וישׁתחוו and worshiped H4639 למעשׂי the works H3027 ידיהם׃ of their own hands.

17 H859 ואתה Thou H247 תאזר therefore gird up H4975 מתניך thy loins, H6965 וקמת and arise, H1696 ודברת and speak H413 אליהם unto H853 את H3605 כל them all H834 אשׁר that H595 אנכי I H6680 אצוך command H408 אל thee: be not H2865 תחת dismayed H6440 מפניהם at their faces, H6435 פן lest H2865 אחתך I confound H6440 לפניהם׃ thee before

18 H589 ואני For, H2009 הנה behold, H5414 נתתיך I have made H3117 היום thee this day H5892 לעיר city, H4013 מבצר a defensed H5982 ולעמוד pillar, H1270 ברזל and an iron H2346 ולחמות walls H5178 נחשׁת and brazen H5921 על against H3605 כל the whole H776 הארץ land, H4428 למלכי against the kings H3063 יהודה of Judah, H8269 לשׂריה against the princes H3548 לכהניה thereof, against the priests H5971 ולעם thereof, and against the people H776 הארץ׃ of the land.

19 H3898 ונלחמו And they shall fight H413 אליך against H3808 ולא thee; but they shall not H3201 יוכלו prevail H3588 לך כי against thee; for H854 אתך with H589 אני I H5002 נאם thee, saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5337 להצילך׃ to deliver
