25 H589 אני I H6979 קרתי have digged, H8354 ושׁתיתי and drunk H4325 מים water; H2717 ואחרב have I dried up H3709 בכף and with the sole H6471 פעמי of my feet H3605 כל all H2975 יארי the rivers H4693 מצור׃ of the besieged places.

26 H3808 הלוא Hast thou not H8085 שׁמעת heard H7350 למרחוק long ago, H853 אותה H6213 עשׂיתי I have done H3117 מימי times, H6924 קדם it; of ancient H3335 ויצרתיה that I have formed H6258 עתה it? now H935 הבאתיה have I brought it to pass, H1961 ותהי that thou shouldest be H7582 להשׁאות to lay waste H1530 גלים heaps. H5327 נצים ruinous H5892 ערים cities H1219 בצרות׃ defensed

27 H3427 וישׁביהן Therefore their inhabitants H7116 קצרי of small H3027 יד power, H2865 חתו they were dismayed H954 ובשׁו and confounded: H1961 היו they were H6212 עשׂב the grass H7704 שׂדה of the field, H3419 וירק and the green H1877 דשׁא herb, H2682 חציר the grass H1406 גגות on the housetops, H7709 ושׁדמה H6440 לפני before H7054 קמה׃ it be grown up.

28 H3427 ושׁבתך thy abode, H3318 וצאתך and thy going out, H935 ובואך and thy coming in, H3045 ידעתי But I know H853 ואת H7264 התרגזך and thy rage H413 אלי׃ against

29 H3282 יען Because H7264 התרגזך thy rage H413 אלי against H7600 ושׁאננך me, and thy tumult, H5927 עלה is come up H241 באזני into mine ears, H7760 ושׂמתי therefore will I put H2397 חחי my hook H639 באפך in thy nose, H4964 ומתגי and my bridle H8193 בשׂפתיך in thy lips, H7725 והשׁיבתיך and I will turn thee back H1870 בדרך by the way H834 אשׁר by which H935 באת׃ thou camest.
