Isaiah 34 קרבו Come near, גוים ye nations, לשׁמע to hear; ולאמים ye people: הקשׁיבו and hearken, תשׁמע hear, הארץ let the earth ומלאה and all that is therein; תבל the world, וכל and all things צאצאיה׃ that come forth

1 H7126 קרבו Come near, H1471 גוים ye nations, H8085 לשׁמע to hear; H3816 ולאמים ye people: H7181 הקשׁיבו and hearken, H8085 תשׁמע hear, H776 הארץ let the earth H4393 ומלאה and all that is therein; H8398 תבל the world, H3605 וכל and all things H6631 צאצאיה׃ that come forth

2 H3588 כי For H7110 קצף the indignation H3068 ליהוה of the LORD H5921 על upon H3605 כל all H1471 הגוים nations, H2534 וחמה and fury H5921 על upon H3605 כל all H6635 צבאם their armies: H2763 החרימם he hath utterly destroyed H5414 נתנם them, he hath delivered H2874 לטבח׃ them to the slaughter.

3 H2491 וחלליהם Their slain H7993 ישׁלכו also shall be cast out, H6297 ופגריהם out of their carcasses, H5927 יעלה shall come up H889 באשׁם and their stink H4549 ונמסו shall be melted H2022 הרים and the mountains H1818 מדמם׃ with their blood.

4 H4743 ונמקו shall be dissolved, H3605 כל And all H6635 צבא the host H8064 השׁמים of heaven H1556 ונגלו shall be rolled together H5612 כספר as a scroll: H8064 השׁמים and the heavens H3605 וכל and all H6635 צבאם their host H5034 יבול shall fall down, H5034 כנבל falleth off H5929 עלה as the leaf H1612 מגפן from the vine, H5034 וכנבלת and as a falling H8384 מתאנה׃ from the fig tree.

5 H3588 כי For H7301 רותה shall be bathed H8064 בשׁמים in heaven: H2719 חרבי my sword H2009 הנה behold, H5921 על upon H123 אדום Idumea, H3381 תרד it shall come down H5921 ועל and upon H5971 עם the people H2764 חרמי of my curse, H4941 למשׁפט׃ to judgment.

6 H2719 חרב The sword H3068 ליהוה of the LORD H4390 מלאה is filled H1818 דם with blood, H1878 הדשׁנה it is made fat H2459 מחלב with fatness, H1818 מדם with the blood H3733 כרים of lambs H6260 ועתודים and goats, H2459 מחלב with the fat H3629 כליות of the kidneys H352 אילים of rams: H3588 כי for H2077 זבח hath a sacrifice H3068 ליהוה the LORD H1224 בבצרה in Bozrah, H2874 וטבח slaughter H1419 גדול and a great H776 בארץ in the land H123 אדום׃ of Idumea.

7 H3381 וירדו shall come down H7214 ראמים And the unicorns H5973 עמם with H6499 ופרים them, and the bullocks H5973 עם with H47 אבירים the bulls; H7301 ורותה shall be soaked H776 ארצם and their land H1818 מדם with blood, H6083 ועפרם and their dust H2459 מחלב with fatness. H1878 ידשׁן׃ made fat

8 H3588 כי For H3117 יום the day H5359 נקם vengeance, H3068 ליהוה of the LORD's H8141 שׁנת the year H7966 שׁלומים of recompenses H7379 לריב for the controversy H6726 ציון׃ of Zion.

9 H2015 ונהפכו thereof shall be turned H5158 נחליה And the streams H2203 לזפת into pitch, H6083 ועפרה and the dust H1614 לגפרית thereof into brimstone, H1961 והיתה thereof shall become H776 ארצה and the land H2203 לזפת pitch. H1197 בערה׃ burning

10 H3915 לילה night H3119 ויומם nor day; H3808 לא It shall not H3518 תכבה be quenched H5769 לעולם forever: H5927 יעלה thereof shall go up H6227 עשׁנה the smoke H1755 מדור from generation H1755 לדור to generation H2717 תחרב it shall lie waste; H5331 לנצח it forever H5331 נצחים and ever. H369 אין none H5674 עבר׃ shall pass through

11 H3423 וירשׁוה shall possess H6893 קאת But the cormorant H7090 וקפוד and the bittern H3244 וינשׁוף it; the owl H6158 וערב also and the raven H7931 ישׁכנו shall dwell H5186 בה ונטה in it: and he shall stretch out H5921 עליה upon H6957 קו it the line H8414 תהו of confusion, H68 ואבני and the stones H922 בהו׃ of emptiness.

12 H2715 חריה the nobles H369 ואין but none H8033 שׁם there, H4410 מלוכה thereof to the kingdom, H7121 יקראו They shall call H3605 וכל and all H8269 שׂריה her princes H1961 יהיו shall be H657 אפס׃ nothing.

13 H5927 ועלתה shall come up H759 ארמנתיה in her palaces, H5518 סירים And thorns H7057 קמושׂ nettles H2336 וחוח and brambles H4013 במבצריה in the fortresses H1961 והיתה thereof: and it shall be H5116 נוה a habitation H8577 תנים H2681 חציר a court H1323 לבנות for owls. H3284 יענה׃ for owls.

14 H6298 ופגשׁו shall also meet H6728 ציים The wild beasts of the desert H854 את with H338 איים the wild beasts of the island, H8163 ושׂעיר and the satyr H5921 על to H7453 רעהו his fellow; H7121 יקרא shall cry H389 אך also H8033 שׁם there, H7280 הרגיעה shall rest H3917 לילית the screech owl H4672 ומצאה and find H4494 לה מנוח׃ for herself a place of rest.

15 H8033 שׁמה There H7077 קננה make her nest, H7091 קפוז shall the great owl H4422 ותמלט and lay, H1234 ובקעה and hatch, H1716 ודגרה and gather H6738 בצלה under her shadow: H389 אך also H8033 שׁם there H6908 נקבצו be gathered, H1772 דיות shall the vultures H802 אשׁה every one H7468 רעותה׃ with her mate.

16 H1875 דרשׁו Seek H5921 מעל ye out of H5612 ספר the book H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H7121 וקראו and read: H259 אחת one H2007 מהנה of these H3808 לא no H5737 נעדרה shall fail, H802 אשׁה none H7468 רעותה her mate: H3808 לא none H6485 פקדו shall want H3588 כי for H6310 פי my mouth H1931 הוא it H6680 צוה hath commanded, H7307 ורוחו and his spirit H1931 הוא it H6908 קבצן׃ hath gathered
