Hosea 7 כרפאי When I would have healed לישׂראל Israel, ונגלה was discovered, עון then the iniquity אפרים of Ephraim ורעות and the wickedness שׁמרון of Samaria: כי for פעלו they commit שׁקר falsehood; וגנב and the thief יבוא cometh in, פשׁט spoileth גדוד the troop of robbers בחוץ׃ without.

1 H7495 כרפאי When I would have healed H3478 לישׂראל Israel, H1540 ונגלה was discovered, H5771 עון then the iniquity H669 אפרים of Ephraim H7451 ורעות and the wickedness H8111 שׁמרון of Samaria: H3588 כי for H6466 פעלו they commit H8267 שׁקר falsehood; H1590 וגנב and the thief H935 יבוא cometh in, H6584 פשׁט spoileth H1416 גדוד the troop of robbers H2351 בחוץ׃ without.

2 H1077 ובל not H559 יאמרו And they consider H3824 ללבבם in their hearts H3605 כל all H7451 רעתם their wickedness: H2142 זכרתי I remember H6258 עתה now H5437 סבבום have beset them about; H4611 מעלליהם their own doings H5048 נגד before H6440 פני my face. H1961 היו׃ they are

3 H7451 ברעתם with their wickedness, H8055 ישׂמחו H4428 מלך H3585 ובכחשׁיהם with their lies. H8269 שׂרים׃ and the princes

4 H3605 כלם They all H5003 מנאפים adulterers, H3644 כמו as H8574 תנור an oven H1197 בערה heated H644 מאפה the baker, H7673 ישׁבות ceaseth H5782 מעיר from raising H3888 מלושׁ after he hath kneaded H1217 בצק the dough, H5704 עד until H2556 חמצתו׃ it be leavened.

5 H3117 יום In the day H4428 מלכנו of our king H2470 החלו have made sick H8269 שׂרים the princes H2573 חמת H3196 מיין of wine; H4900 משׁך he stretched out H3027 ידו his hand H854 את with H3945 לצצים׃ scorners.

6 H3588 כי For H7126 קרבו they have made ready H8574 כתנור like an oven, H3820 לבם their heart H693 בארבם while they lie in wait: H3605 כל all H3915 הלילה the night; H3462 ישׁן H644 אפהם their baker H1242 בקר in the morning H1931 הוא it H1197 בער burneth H784 כאשׁ fire. H3852 להבה׃ as a flaming

7 H3605 כלם all H2552 יחמו H8574 כתנור as an oven, H398 ואכלו and have devoured H853 את H8199 שׁפטיהם their judges; H3605 כל H4428 מלכיהם their kings H5307 נפלו are fallen: H369 אין none H7121 קרא among them that calleth H413 בהם אלי׃ unto

8 H669 אפרים Ephraim, H5971 בעמים among the people; H1931 הוא he H1101 יתבולל hath mixed himself H669 אפרים Ephraim H1961 היה is H5692 עגה a cake H1097 בלי not H2015 הפוכה׃ turned.

9 H398 אכלו have devoured H2114 זרים Strangers H3581 כחו his strength, H1931 והוא and he H3808 לא not: H3045 ידע knoweth H1571 גם yea, H7872 שׂיבה gray hairs H2236 זרקה are here and there H1931 בו והוא upon him, yet he H3808 לא not. H3045 ידע׃ knoweth

10 H6030 וענה testifieth H1347 גאון And the pride H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H6440 בפניו to his face: H3808 ולא and they do not H7725 שׁבו return H413 אל to H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיהם their God, H3808 ולא nor H1245 בקשׁהו seek H3605 בכל him for all H2063 זאת׃ this.

11 H1961 ויהי also is H669 אפרים Ephraim H3123 כיונה dove H6601 פותה like a silly H369 אין without H3820 לב heart: H4714 מצרים to Egypt, H7121 קראו they call H804 אשׁור to Assyria. H1980 הלכו׃ they go

12 H834 כאשׁר When H1980 ילכו they shall go, H6566 אפרושׂ I will spread H5921 עליהם upon H7568 רשׁתי my net H5775 כעוף as the fowls H8064 השׁמים of the heaven; H3381 אורידם them; I will bring them down H3256 איסרם I will chastise H8088 כשׁמע hath heard. H5712 לעדתם׃ them, as their congregation

13 H188 אוי Woe H1992 להם them, yet they H3588 כי unto them! for H5074 נדדו they have fled H4480 ממני from H7701 שׁד me: destruction H1992 להם H3588 כי unto them! because H6586 פשׁעו they have transgressed H595 בי ואנכי against me: though I H6299 אפדם have redeemed H1992 והמה H1696 דברו have spoken H5921 עלי against H3577 כזבים׃ lies

14 H3808 ולא And they have not H2199 זעקו cried H413 אלי unto H3820 בלבם me with their heart, H3588 כי when H3213 יילילו they howled H5921 על upon H4904 משׁכבותם their beds: H5921 על for H1715 דגן corn H8492 ותירושׁ and wine, H1481 יתגוררו they assemble themselves H5493 יסורו׃ they rebel

15 H589 ואני Though I H3256 יסרתי have bound H2388 חזקתי strengthened H2220 זרועתם their arms, H413 ואלי against H2803 יחשׁבו yet do they imagine H7451 רע׃ mischief

16 H7725 ישׁובו They return, H3808 לא not H5920 על to the most High: H1961 היו they are H7198 כקשׁת bow: H7423 רמיה like a deceitful H5307 יפלו shall fall H2719 בחרב by the sword H8269 שׂריהם their princes H2195 מזעם for the rage H3956 לשׁונם of their tongue: H2097 זו this H3933 לעגם their derision H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.
