Genesis 47:1-12 ויבא came יוסף Then Joseph ויגד and told לפרעה Pharaoh, ויאמר and said, אבי My father ואחי and my brethren, וצאנם and their flocks, ובקרם and their herds, וכל and all אשׁר that להם באו they have, are come מארץ out of the land כנען of Canaan; והנם בארץ they in the land גשׁן׃ of Goshen.

2 H7097 ומקצה some H251 אחיו of his brethren, H3947 לקח And he took H2568 חמשׁה five H582 אנשׁים H3322 ויצגם and presented H6440 לפני them unto H6547 פרעה׃ Pharaoh.

3 H559 ויאמר said H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H413 אל unto H251 אחיו his brethren, H4100 מה What H4639 מעשׂיכם your occupation? H559 ויאמרו And they said H413 אל unto H6547 פרעה Pharaoh, H7462 רעה shepherds, H6629 צאן shepherds, H5650 עבדיך Thy servants H1571 גם both H587 אנחנו we, H1571 גם also H1 אבותינו׃ our fathers.

4 H559 ויאמרו They said H413 אל moreover unto H6547 פרעה Pharaoh, H1481 לגור For to sojourn H776 בארץ in the land H935 באנו are we come; H3588 כי for H369 אין have no H4829 מרעה pasture H6629 לצאן for their flocks; H834 אשׁר for H5650 לעבדיך thy servants H3588 כי for H3515 כבד sore H7458 הרעב the famine H776 בארץ in the land H3667 כנען of Canaan: H6258 ועתה now H3427 ישׁבו dwell H4994 נא therefore, we pray thee, H5650 עבדיך let thy servants H776 בארץ in the land H1657 גשׁן׃ of Goshen.

5 H559 ויאמר spoke H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H413 אל unto H3130 יוסף Joseph, H559 לאמר saying, H1 אביך Thy father H251 ואחיך and thy brethren H935 באו are come H413 אליך׃ unto

6 H776 ארץ The land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H6440 לפניך before H1931 הוא H4315 במיטב thee; in the best H776 הארץ of the land H3427 הושׁב to dwell; H853 את H1 אביך make thy father H853 ואת H251 אחיך and brethren H3427 ישׁבו let them dwell: H776 בארץ in the land H1657 גשׁן of Goshen H518 ואם and if H3045 ידעת thou knowest H3426 וישׁ H376 בם אנשׁי men H2428 חיל of activity H7760 ושׂמתם among them, then make H8269 שׂרי them rulers H4735 מקנה cattle. 8 H559 ויאמר said H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H413 אל unto H3290 יעקב Jacob, H4100 כמה How H3117 ימי old H8141 שׁני H2416 חייך׃

9 H559 ויאמר said H3290 יעקב And Jacob H413 אל unto H6547 פרעה Pharaoh, H3117 ימי The days H8141 שׁני of the years H4033 מגורי of my pilgrimage H7970 שׁלשׁים and thirty H3967 ומאת a hundred H8141 שׁנה years: H4592 מעט few H7451 ורעים and evil H1961 היו been, H3117 ימי have the days H8141 שׁני of the years H2416 חיי of my life H3808 ולא and have not H5381 השׂיגו attained unto H853 את H3117 ימי the days H8141 שׁני of the years H2416 חיי of the life H1 אבתי of my fathers H3117 בימי in the days H4033 מגוריהם׃ of their pilgrimage.

10 H1288 ויברך blessed H3290 יעקב And Jacob H853 את H6547 פרעה Pharaoh, H3318 ויצא and went out H6440 מלפני from before H6547 פרעה׃ Pharaoh.

11 H3427 ויושׁב placed H3130 יוסף And Joseph H853 את H1 אביו his father H853 ואת H251 אחיו and his brethren, H14 ויתן H272 להם אחזה them a possession H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H4315 במיטב in the best H776 הארץ of the land, H776 בארץ in the land H7486 רעמסס of Rameses, H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה had commanded. H6547 פרעה׃ Pharaoh
