Ezra 1:1-5 ובשׁנת year אחת Now in the first לכורשׁ of Cyrus מלך king פרס of Persia, לכלות might be fulfilled, דבר that the word יהוה of the LORD מפי by the mouth ירמיה of Jeremiah העיר stirred up יהוה the LORD את רוח the spirit כרשׁ of Cyrus מלך king פרס of Persia, ויעבר that he made a proclamation קול that he made a proclamation בכל throughout all מלכותו his kingdom, וגם and also במכתב in writing, לאמר׃ saying,

2 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3566 כרשׁ Cyrus H4428 מלך king H6539 פרס of Persia, H3605 כל me all H4467 ממלכות the kingdoms H776 הארץ of the earth; H5414 נתן hath given H3068 לי יהוה The LORD H430 אלהי God H8064 השׁמים of heaven H1931 והוא and he H6485 פקד hath charged H5921 עלי hath charged H1129 לבנות me to build H1004 לו בית him a house H3389 בירושׁלם at Jerusalem, H834 אשׁר which H3063 ביהודה׃ in Judah.

3 H4310 מי Who H3605 בכם מכל among you of all H5971 עמו his people? H1961 יהי be H430 אלהיו his God H5973 עמו with H5927 ויעל him, and let him go up H3389 לירושׁלם to Jerusalem, H834 אשׁר which H3063 ביהודה in Judah, H1129 ויבן and build H853 את H1004 בית the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H1931 הוא (he H430 האלהים the God,) H834 אשׁר which H3389 בירושׁלם׃ in Jerusalem.

4 H3605 וכל And whosoever H7604 הנשׁאר remaineth H3605 מכל in any H4725 המקמות place H834 אשׁר where H1931 הוא he H1481 גר sojourneth, H8033 שׁם H5375 ינשׂאוהו help H376 אנשׁי let the men H4725 מקמו of his place H3701 בכסף him with silver, H2091 ובזהב and with gold, H7399 וברכושׁ and with goods, H929 ובבהמה and with beasts, H5973 עם beside H5071 הנדבה the freewill offering H1004 לבית for the house H430 האלהים of God H834 אשׁר that H3389 בירושׁלם׃ in Jerusalem.

5 H6965 ויקומו Then rose up H7218 ראשׁי the chief H1 האבות of the fathers H3063 ליהודה of Judah H1144 ובנימן and Benjamin, H3548 והכהנים and the priests, H3881 והלוים and the Levites, H3605 לכל with all H5782 העיר had raised, H430 האלהים God H853 את H7307 רוחו whose spirit H5927 לעלות to go up H1129 לבנות to build H853 את H1004 בית the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD H834 אשׁר which H3389 בירושׁלם׃ in Jerusalem.
