Ezekiel 18:9-19 בחקותי in my statutes, יהלך Hath walked ומשׁפטי my judgments, שׁמר and hath kept לעשׂות to deal אמת truly; צדיק just, הוא he חיה he shall surely live, יחיה he shall surely live, נאם saith אדני the Lord יהוה׃ GOD.

12 H6041 עני the poor H34 ואביון and needy, H3238 הונה Hath oppressed H1500 גזלות by violence, H1497 גזל hath spoiled H2258 חבל the pledge, H3808 לא hath not H7725 ישׁיב restored H413 ואל to H1544 הגלולים the idols, H5375 נשׂא and hath lifted up H5869 עיניו his eyes H8441 תועבה abomination, H6213 עשׂה׃ hath committed

13 H5392 בנשׁך upon usury, H5414 נתן Hath given forth H8636 ותרבית increase: H3947 לקח and hath taken H2425 וחי H3808 לא he shall not H2421 יחיה shall he then live? 17 H6041 מעני from the poor, H7725 השׁיב hath taken off H3027 ידו his hand H5392 נשׁך usury H8636 ותרבית nor increase, H3808 לא hath not H3947 לקח received H4941 משׁפטי my judgments, H6213 עשׂה hath executed H2708 בחקותי in my statutes; H1980 הלך hath walked H1931 הוא he H3808 לא shall not H4191 ימות die H5771 בעון for the iniquity H1 אביו of his father, H2421 חיה he shall surely live. H2421 יחיה׃ he shall surely live.

18 H1 אביו his father, H3588 כי because H6231 עשׁק he cruelly oppressed, H6233 עשׁק he cruelly oppressed, H1497 גזל spoiled H1499 גזל by violence, H251 אח his brother H834 ואשׁר which H3808 לא not H2896 טוב good H6213 עשׂה and did H8432 בתוך among H5971 עמיו his people, H2009 והנה lo, H4191 מת even he shall die H5771 בעונו׃ in his iniquity.

19 H559 ואמרתם Yet say H4069 מדע ye, Why? H3808 לא doth not H5375 נשׂא bear H1121 הבן the son H5771 בעון the iniquity H1 האב of the father?
