3 H3947 היקח be taken H4480 ממנו thereof H6086 עץ Shall wood H6213 לעשׂות to do H4399 למלאכה any work? H518 אם or H3947 יקחו will take H4480 ממנו of H3489 יתד a pin H8518 לתלות it to hang H5921 עליו thereon? H3605 כל any H3627 כלי׃ vessel

4 H2009 הנה Behold, H784 לאשׁ into the fire H5414 נתן it is cast H402 לאכלה for fuel; H853 את H8147 שׁני both H7098 קצותיו the ends H398 אכלה devoureth H784 האשׁ the fire H8432 ותוכו of it, and the midst H2787 נחר of it is burned. H6743 היצלח Is it meet H4399 למלאכה׃ for work?

5 H2009 הנה Behold, H1961 בהיותו when it was H8549 תמים whole, H3808 לא for no H6213 יעשׂה it was meet H4399 למלאכה work: H637 אף how much less H3588 כי when H784 אשׁ the fire H398 אכלתהו hath devoured H2787 ויחר it, and it is burned? H6213 ונעשׂה shall it be meet H5750 עוד yet H4399 למלאכה׃ for work,

6 H3651 לכן Therefore H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD; H834 כאשׁר As H6086 עץ tree H1612 הגפן the vine H6086 בעץ among the trees H3293 היער of the forest, H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתתיו I have given H784 לאשׁ to the fire H402 לאכלה for fuel, H3651 כן so H5414 נתתי will I give H853 את H3427 ישׁבי the inhabitants H3389 ירושׁלם׃ of Jerusalem.

7 H5414 ונתתי And I will set H853 את H6440 פני my face H784 בהם מהאשׁ from fire, H3318 יצאו against them; they shall go out H784 והאשׁ and fire H398 תאכלם shall devour H3045 וידעתם them; and ye shall know H3588 כי that H589 אני I H3069 יהוה H7760 בשׂומי when I set H853 את H6440 פני׃ my face

8 H5414 ונתתי And I will make H853 את H776 הארץ the land H8077 שׁממה desolate, H3282 יען because H4603 מעלו they have committed H4604 מעל a trespass, H5002 נאם saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה׃ GOD.
