Exodus 12:29-42 ויהי And it came to pass, בחצי that at midnight הלילה that at midnight ויהוה the LORD הכה smote כל all בכור the firstborn בארץ in the land מצרים of Egypt, מבכר from the firstborn פרעה of Pharaoh הישׁב that sat על on כסאו his throne עד unto בכור the firstborn השׁבי of the captive אשׁר that בבית in the dungeon; הבור in the dungeon; וכל and all בכור the firstborn בהמה׃ of cattle.

29 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H2677 בחצי that at midnight H3915 הלילה that at midnight H3068 ויהוה the LORD H5221 הכה smote H3605 כל all H1060 בכור the firstborn H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H1060 מבכר from the firstborn H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh H3427 הישׁב that sat H5921 על on H3678 כסאו his throne H5704 עד unto H1060 בכור the firstborn H7628 השׁבי of the captive H834 אשׁר that H1004 בבית in the dungeon; H953 הבור in the dungeon; H3605 וכל and all H1060 בכור the firstborn H929 בהמה׃ of cattle.

30 H6965 ויקם rose up H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H3915 לילה in the night, H1931 הוא he, H3605 וכל and all H5650 עבדיו his servants, H3605 וכל and all H4713 מצרים H1961 ותהי and there was H6818 צעקה cry H1419 גדלה a great H4714 במצרים the Egyptians; H3588 כי for H369 אין not H1004 בית a house H834 אשׁר where H369 אין not H8033 שׁם where H4191 מת׃ one dead.

31 H7121 ויקרא And he called H4872 למשׁה for Moses H175 ולאהרן and Aaron H3915 לילה by night, H559 ויאמר and said, H6965 קומו Rise up, H3318 צאו get you forth H8432 מתוך from among H5971 עמי my people, H1571 גם both H859 אתם ye H1571 גם and H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H1980 ולכו and go, H5647 עבדו serve H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1696 כדברכם׃ as ye have said.

32 H1571 גם Also H6629 צאנכם your flocks H1571 גם and H1241 בקרכם your herds, H3947 קחו take H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דברתם ye have said, H1980 ולכו and be gone; H1288 וברכתם and bless H1571 גם me also. H853 אתי׃

33 H2388 ותחזק were urgent H4713 מצרים H5921 על upon H5971 העם the people, H4116 למהר in haste; H7971 לשׁלחם that they might send them out H4480 מן of H776 הארץ the land H3588 כי for H559 אמרו they said, H3605 כלנו We all H4191 מתים׃ dead

34 H5375 וישׂא took H5971 העם And the people H853 את H1217 בצקו their dough H2962 טרם before H2556 יחמץ it was leavened, H4863 משׁארתם their kneading troughs H6887 צררת being bound up H8071 בשׂמלתם in their clothes H5921 על upon H7926 שׁכמם׃ their shoulders.

35 H1121 ובני And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H6213 עשׂו did H1697 כדבר according to the word H4872 משׁה of Moses; H7592 וישׁאלו and they borrowed H4713 ממצרים H3627 כלי jewels H3701 כסף of silver, H3627 וכלי and jewels H2091 זהב of gold, H8071 ושׂמלת׃ and raiment:

36 H3068 ויהוה And the LORD H5414 נתן gave H853 את H2580 חן favor H5971 העם the people H5869 בעיני in the sight H4713 מצרים H7592 וישׁאלום so that they lent H5337 וינצלו unto them And they spoiled H853 את H4713 מצרים׃

37 H5265 ויסעו journeyed H1121 בני And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H7486 מרעמסס H5523 סכתה to Succoth, H8337 כשׁשׁ about six H3967 מאות hundred H505 אלף thousand H7273 רגלי on foot H1397 הגברים men, H905 לבד beside H2945 מטף׃ children.

38 H1571 וגם also H6154 ערב And a mixed H7227 רב multitude H5927 עלה went up H854 אתם with H6629 וצאן them; and flocks, H1241 ובקר and herds, H4735 מקנה cattle. H3515 כבד much H3966 מאד׃ very

39 H644 ויאפו And they baked H853 את H1217 הבצק of the dough H834 אשׁר which H3318 הוציאו they brought forth H4714 ממצרים H5692 עגת cakes H4682 מצות unleavened H3588 כי for H3808 לא it was not leavened; H2556 חמץ it was not leavened; H3588 כי because H1644 גרשׁו they were thrust out H4714 ממצרים H3808 ולא not H3201 יכלו and could H4102 להתמהמה tarry, H1571 וגם neither H6720 צדה for themselves any victual. H3808 לא neither H6213 עשׂו׃ had they prepared

40 H4186 ומושׁב Now the sojourning H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H834 אשׁר who H3427 ישׁבו dwelt H4714 במצרים in Egypt, H7970 שׁלשׁים and thirty H8141 שׁנה years. H702 וארבע four H3967 מאות hundred H8141 שׁנה׃

41 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H7093 מקץ at the end H7970 שׁלשׁים and thirty H8141 שׁנה years, H702 וארבע of the four H3967 מאות hundred H8141 שׁנה H1961 ויהי it came to pass, H6106 בעצם even the selfsame H3117 היום day H2088 הזה even the selfsame H3318 יצאו went out H3605 כל that all H6635 צבאות the hosts H3068 יהוה of the LORD H776 מארץ from the land H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

42 H3915 ליל a night H8107 שׁמרים to be much observed H1931 הוא It H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H3318 להוציאם for bringing them out H776 מארץ from the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt: H1931 הוא that H3915 הלילה night H2088 הזה this H3068 ליהוה of the LORD H8107 שׁמרים to be observed H3605 לכל of all H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H1755 לדרתם׃ in their generations.
