Deuteronomy 9:1-3 שׁמע Hear, ישׂראל O Israel: אתה Thou עבר to pass over היום this day, את הירדן Jordan לבא to go in לרשׁת to possess גוים nations גדלים greater ועצמים and mightier ממך than ערים thyself, cities גדלת great ובצרת and fenced up בשׁמים׃ to heaven,

1 H8085 שׁמע Hear, H3478 ישׂראל O Israel: H859 אתה Thou H5674 עבר to pass over H3117 היום this day, H853 את H3383 הירדן Jordan H935 לבא to go in H3423 לרשׁת to possess H1471 גוים nations H1419 גדלים greater H6099 ועצמים and mightier H4480 ממך than H5892 ערים thyself, cities H1419 גדלת great H1219 ובצרת and fenced up H8064 בשׁמים׃ to heaven,

2 H5971 עם A people H1419 גדול great H7311 ורם and tall, H1121 בני the children H6062 ענקים of the Anakims, H834 אשׁר whom H859 אתה thou H3045 ידעת knowest, H859 ואתה and thou H8085 שׁמעת hast heard H4310 מי Who H3320 יתיצב can stand H6440 לפני before H1121 בני the children H6061 ענק׃ of Anak!

3 H3045 וידעת Understand H3117 היום therefore this day, H3588 כי that H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H1931 הוא he H5674 העבר which goeth over H6440 לפניך before H784 אשׁ fire H398 אכלה thee; a consuming H1931 הוא he H8045 ישׁמידם shall destroy H1931 והוא them, and he H3665 יכניעם shall bring them down H6440 לפניך before thy face: H3423 והורשׁתם so shalt thou drive them out, H6 והאבדתם and destroy H4118 מהר them quickly, H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דבר hath said H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD
