Deuteronomy 7 כי When יביאך shall bring יהוה the LORD אלהיך thy God אל thee into הארץ the land אשׁר whither אתה thou בא goest שׁמה whither לרשׁתה to possess ונשׁל it, and hath cast out גוים nations רבים many מפניך before החתי thee, the Hittites, והגרגשׁי and the Girgashites, והאמרי and the Amorites, והכנעני and the Canaanites, והפרזי and the Perizzites, והחוי and the Hivites, והיבוסי and the Jebusites, שׁבעה seven גוים nations רבים greater ועצומים and mightier ממך׃ before

1 H3588 כי When H935 יביאך shall bring H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H413 אל thee into H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר whither H859 אתה thou H935 בא goest H8033 שׁמה whither H3423 לרשׁתה to possess H5394 ונשׁל it, and hath cast out H1471 גוים nations H7227 רבים many H6440 מפניך before H2850 החתי thee, the Hittites, H1622 והגרגשׁי and the Girgashites, H567 והאמרי and the Amorites, H3669 והכנעני and the Canaanites, H6522 והפרזי and the Perizzites, H2340 והחוי and the Hivites, H2983 והיבוסי and the Jebusites, H7651 שׁבעה seven H1471 גוים nations H7227 רבים greater H6099 ועצומים and mightier H4480 ממך׃ before

2 H5414 ונתנם shall deliver H3068 יהוה And when the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H6440 לפניך them before H5221 והכיתם thee; thou shalt smite H2763 החרם them, utterly destroy H2763 תחרים them, utterly destroy H853 אתם H3808 לא no H3772 תכרת them; thou shalt make H1285 להם ברית covenant H3808 ולא with them, nor H2603 תחנם׃ show mercy

3 H3808 ולא Neither H2859 תתחתן shalt thou make marriages H1323 בם בתך with them; thy daughter H3808 לא thou shalt not H5414 תתן give H1121 לבנו unto his son, H1323 ובתו his daughter H3808 לא nor H3947 תקח shalt thou take H1121 לבנך׃ unto thy son.

4 H3588 כי For H5493 יסיר they will turn away H853 את H1121 בנך thy son H310 מאחרי from following H5647 ועבדו me, that they may serve H430 אלהים gods: H312 אחרים other H2734 וחרה be kindled H639 אף so will the anger H3068 יהוה of the LORD H8045 בכם והשׁמידך against you, and destroy H4118 מהר׃ thee suddenly.

5 H3588 כי H518 אם H3541 כה thus H6213 תעשׂו shall ye deal H1992 להם H4196 מזבחתיהם their altars, H5422 תתצו with them; ye shall destroy H4676 ומצבתם their images, H7665 תשׁברו and break down H842 ואשׁירהם their groves, H1438 תגדעון and cut down H6456 ופסיליהם their graven images H8313 תשׂרפון and burn H784 באשׁ׃ with fire.

6 H3588 כי For H5971 עם people H6918 קדושׁ a holy H859 אתה thou H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God: H977 בך בחר hath chosen H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H1961 להיות thee to be H5971 לו לעם people H5459 סגלה a special H3605 מכל unto himself, above all H5971 העמים people H834 אשׁר that H5921 על upon H6440 פני the face H127 האדמה׃ of the earth.

7 H3808 לא did not H7230 מרבכם you, because ye were more in number H3605 מכל than any H5971 העמים people; H2836 חשׁק set his love H3068 יהוה The LORD H977 בכם ויבחר upon you, nor choose H3588 בכם כי for H859 אתם ye H4592 המעט the fewest H3605 מכל of all H5971 העמים׃ people:

8 H3588 כי But H160 מאהבת loved H3068 יהוה because the LORD H853 אתכם H8104 ומשׁמרו you, and because he would keep H853 את H7621 השׁבעה the oath H834 אשׁר which H7650 נשׁבע he had sworn H1 לאבתיכם unto your fathers, H3318 הוציא H3068 יהוה hath the LORD H853 אתכם H3027 ביד hand, H2389 חזקה with a mighty H6299 ויפדך and redeemed H1004 מבית you out of the house H5650 עבדים of bondmen, H3027 מיד from the hand H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh H4428 מלך king H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

9 H3045 וידעת Know H3588 כי therefore that H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H1931 הוא he H430 האלהים God, H410 האל God, H539 הנאמן the faithful H8104 שׁמר which keepeth H1285 הברית covenant H2617 והחסד and mercy H157 לאהביו with them that love H8104 ולשׁמרי him and keep H4687 מצותו his commandments H505 לאלף to a thousand H1755 דור׃ generations;

10 H7999 ומשׁלם And repayeth H8130 לשׂנאיו them that hate H413 אל him to H6440 פניו their face, H6 להאבידו to destroy H3808 לא them: he will not H309 יאחר be slack H8130 לשׂנאו to him that hateth H413 אל him to H6440 פניו his face. H7999 ישׁלם׃ him, he will repay

11 H8104 ושׁמרת Thou shalt therefore keep H853 את H4687 המצוה the commandments, H853 ואת H2706 החקים and the statutes, H853 ואת H4941 המשׁפטים and the judgments, H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוך command H3117 היום thee this day, H6213 לעשׂותם׃ to do

12 H1961 והיה Wherefore it shall come to pass, H6118 עקב if H8085 תשׁמעון ye hearken H853 את H4941 המשׁפטים judgments, H428 האלה to these H8104 ושׁמרתם and keep, H6213 ועשׂיתם and do H853 אתם H8104 ושׁמר shall keep H3068 יהוה them, that the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H853 לך את H1285 הברית unto thee the covenant H853 ואת H2617 החסד and the mercy H834 אשׁר which H7650 נשׁבע he swore H1 לאבתיך׃ unto thy fathers:

13 H157 ואהבך And he will love H1288 וברכך thee, and bless H7235 והרבך thee, and multiply H1288 וברך thee: he will also bless H6529 פרי the fruit H990 בטנך of thy womb, H6529 ופרי and the fruit H127 אדמתך of thy land, H1715 דגנך thy corn, H8492 ותירשׁך and thy wine, H3323 ויצהרך and thine oil, H7698 שׁגר the increase H504 אלפיך of thy kine, H6251 ועשׁתרת and the flocks H6629 צאנך of thy sheep, H5921 על in H127 האדמה the land H834 אשׁר which H7650 נשׁבע he swore H1 לאבתיך unto thy fathers H5414 לתת׃ to give

14 H1288 ברוך blessed H1961 תהיה Thou shalt be H3605 מכל above all H5971 העמים people: H3808 לא there shall not H1961 יהיה be H6135 בך עקר male H6135 ועקרה or female barren H929 ובבהמתך׃ among you, or among your cattle.

15 H5493 והסיר will take away H3068 יהוה And the LORD H4480 ממך from H3605 כל thee all H2483 חלי sickness, H3605 וכל none H4064 מדוי diseases H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H7451 הרעים of the evil H834 אשׁר which H3045 ידעת thou knowest, H3808 לא none H7760 ישׂימם and will put H5414 בך ונתנם upon thee; but will lay H3605 בכל them upon all H8130 שׂנאיך׃

16 H398 ואכלת And thou shalt consume H853 את H3605 כל all H5971 העמים the people H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5414 נתן shall deliver H3808 לך לא shall have no pity H2347 תחוס shall have no pity H5869 עינך thee; thine eye H5921 עליהם upon H3808 ולא them: neither H5647 תעבד shalt thou serve H853 את H430 אלהיהם their gods; H3588 כי for H4170 מוקשׁ a snare H1931 הוא׃ that

17 H3588 כי If H559 תאמר thou shalt say H3824 בלבבך in thine heart, H7227 רבים more H1471 הגוים nations H428 האלה These H4480 ממני than H349 איכה I; how H3201 אוכל can H3423 להורישׁם׃ I dispossess

18 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H3372 תירא be afraid H1992 מהם H2142 זכר them: shalt well remember H2142 תזכר them: shalt well remember H853 את H834 אשׁר what H6213 עשׂה did H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H6547 לפרעה unto Pharaoh, H3605 ולכל and unto all H4714 מצרים׃ Egypt;

19 H4531 המסת temptations H1419 הגדלת The great H834 אשׁר which H7200 ראו saw, H5869 עיניך thine eyes H226 והאתת and the signs, H4159 והמפתים and the wonders, H3027 והיד hand, H2389 החזקה and the mighty H2220 והזרע arm, H5186 הנטויה and the stretched out H834 אשׁר whereby H3318 הוצאך brought thee out: H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H3651 כן so H6213 יעשׂה do H3068 יהוה shall the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H3605 לכל unto all H5971 העמים the people H834 אשׁר of whom H859 אתה thou H3373 ירא H6440 מפניהם׃

20 H1571 וגם Moreover H853 את H6880 הצרעה the hornet H7971 ישׁלח will send H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5704 בם עד among them, until H6 אבד thee, be destroyed. H7604 הנשׁארים they that are left, H5641 והנסתרים and hide themselves H6440 מפניך׃ from

21 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H6206 תערץ be frightened H6440 מפניהם at H3588 כי them: for H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H7130 בקרבך among H410 אל God H1419 גדול you, a mighty H3372 ונורא׃ and terrible.

22 H5394 ונשׁל will put out H3068 יהוה And the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H853 את H1471 הגוים nations H411 האל those H6440 מפניך before H4592 מעט thee by little H4592 מעט and little: H3808 לא not H3201 תוכל thou mayest H3615 כלתם consume H4118 מהר them at once, H6435 פן lest H7235 תרבה increase H5921 עליך upon H2416 חית the beasts H7704 השׂדה׃ of the field

23 H5414 ונתנם shall deliver H3068 יהוה But the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H6440 לפניך them unto H2000 והמם H4103 מהומה destruction, H1419 גדלה them with a mighty H5704 עד until H8045 השׁמדם׃ they be destroyed.

24 H5414 ונתן And he shall deliver H4428 מלכיהם their kings H3027 בידך into thine hand, H6 והאבדת and thou shalt destroy H853 את H8034 שׁמם their name H8478 מתחת from under H8064 השׁמים heaven: H3808 לא there shall no H3320 יתיצב be able to stand H376 אישׁ man H6440 בפניך before H5704 עד thee, until H8045 השׁמדך thou have destroyed H853 אתם׃

25 H6456 פסילי The graven images H430 אלהיהם of their gods H8313 תשׂרפון shall ye burn H784 באשׁ with fire: H3808 לא thou shalt not H2530 תחמד desire H3701 כסף the silver H2091 וזהב or gold H5921 עליהם on H3947 ולקחת them, nor take H6435 לך פן unto thee, lest H3369 תוקשׁ thou be snared H3588 בו כי therein: for H8441 תועבת an abomination H3068 יהוה to the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God. H1931 הוא׃ it

26 H3808 ולא Neither H935 תביא shalt thou bring H8441 תועבה an abomination H413 אל into H1004 ביתך thine house, H1961 והיית lest thou be H2764 חרם a cursed thing H3644 כמהו like it: H8262 שׁקץ thou shalt utterly detest H8262 תשׁקצנו thou shalt utterly detest H8581 ותעב it, and thou shalt utterly abhor H8581 תתעבנו it, and thou shalt utterly abhor H3588 כי it; for H2764 חרם a cursed thing. H1931 הוא׃ it
