Deuteronomy 28:1-30 והיה And it shall come to pass, אם if שׁמוע thou shalt hearken diligently תשׁמע thou shalt hearken diligently בקול unto the voice יהוה of the LORD אלהיך thy God, לשׁמר to observe לעשׂות to do את כל all מצותיו his commandments אשׁר which אנכי I מצוך command היום thee this day, ונתנך will set יהוה that the LORD אלהיך thy God עליון thee on high על above כל all גויי nations הארץ׃ of the earth:

1 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H518 אם if H8085 שׁמוע thou shalt hearken diligently H8085 תשׁמע thou shalt hearken diligently H6963 בקול unto the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H8104 לשׁמר to observe H6213 לעשׂות to do H853 את H3605 כל all H4687 מצותיו his commandments H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוך command H3117 היום thee this day, H5414 ונתנך will set H3068 יהוה that the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5945 עליון thee on high H5921 על above H3605 כל all H1471 גויי nations H776 הארץ׃ of the earth:

2 H935 ובאו shall come H5921 עליך on H3605 כל And all H1293 הברכות blessings H428 האלה these H5381 והשׂיגך thee, and overtake H3588 כי thee, if H8085 תשׁמע thou shalt hearken H6963 בקול unto the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך׃ thy God.

3 H1288 ברוך Blessed H859 אתה thou H5892 בעיר in the city, H1288 וברוך and blessed H859 אתה thou H7704 בשׂדה׃ in the field.

4 H1288 ברוך Blessed H6529 פרי the fruit H990 בטנך of thy body, H6529 ופרי and the fruit H127 אדמתך of thy ground, H6529 ופרי and the fruit H929 בהמתך of thy cattle, H7698 שׁגר the increase H504 אלפיך of thy kine, H6251 ועשׁתרות and the flocks H6629 צאנך׃ of thy sheep.

5 H1288 ברוך Blessed H2935 טנאך thy basket H4863 ומשׁארתך׃ and thy store.

6 H1288 ברוך Blessed H859 אתה thou H935 בבאך when thou comest in, H1288 וברוך and blessed H859 אתה thou H3318 בצאתך׃ when thou goest out.

7 H5414 יתן shall cause H3068 יהוה The LORD H853 את H341 איביך thine enemies H6965 הקמים that rise up H5921 עליך against H5062 נגפים thee to be smitten H6440 לפניך before thy face: H1870 בדרך way, H259 אחד thee one H3318 יצאו they shall come out H413 אליך against H7651 ובשׁבעה thee seven H1870 דרכים ways. H5127 ינוסו and flee H6440 לפניך׃ before

8 H6680 יצו shall command H3068 יהוה The LORD H854 אתך upon H853 את H1293 הברכה the blessing H618 באסמיך thee in thy storehouses, H3605 ובכל and in all H4916 משׁלח that thou settest H3027 ידך thine hand H1288 וברכך unto; and he shall bless H776 בארץ thee in the land H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5414 נתן׃ giveth

9 H6965 יקימך shall establish H3068 יהוה The LORD H5971 לו לעם people H6918 קדושׁ thee a holy H834 כאשׁר unto himself, as H7650 נשׁבע he hath sworn H3588 לך כי unto thee, if H8104 תשׁמר thou shalt keep H853 את H4687 מצות the commandments H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H1980 והלכת and walk H1870 בדרכיו׃ in his ways.

10 H7200 וראו shall see H3605 כל And all H5971 עמי people H776 הארץ of the earth H3588 כי that H8034 שׁם the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD; H7121 נקרא thou art called H5921 עליך by H3372 ויראו and they shall be afraid H4480 ממך׃ of

11 H3498 והותרך shall make thee plenteous H3068 יהוה And the LORD H2896 לטובה in goods, H6529 בפרי in the fruit H990 בטנך of thy body, H6529 ובפרי and in the fruit H929 בהמתך of thy cattle, H6529 ובפרי and in the fruit H127 אדמתך of thy ground, H5921 על in H127 האדמה the land H834 אשׁר which H7650 נשׁבע swore H3068 יהוה the LORD H1 לאבתיך unto thy fathers H5414 לתת׃ to give

12 H6605 יפתח shall open H3068 יהוה The LORD H853 לך את H214 אוצרו treasure, H2896 הטוב unto thee his good H853 את H8064 השׁמים the heaven H5414 לתת to give H4306 מטר the rain H776 ארצך unto thy land H6256 בעתו in his season, H1288 ולברך and to bless H853 את H3605 כל all H4639 מעשׂה the work H3027 ידך of thine hand: H3867 והלוית and thou shalt lend H1471 גוים nations, H7227 רבים unto many H859 ואתה and thou H3808 לא shalt not H3867 תלוה׃ borrow.

13 H5414 ונתנך shall make H3068 יהוה And the LORD H7218 לראשׁ thee the head, H3808 ולא and not H2180 לזנב the tail; H1961 והיית and thou shalt be H7535 רק only, H4605 למעלה above H3808 ולא and thou shalt not H1961 תהיה be H4295 למטה beneath; H3588 כי if H8085 תשׁמע that thou hearken H413 אל unto H4687 מצות the commandments H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוך command H3117 היום thee this day, H8104 לשׁמר to observe H6213 ולעשׂות׃ and to do

14 H3808 ולא And thou shalt not H5493 תסור go aside H3605 מכל from any H1697 הדברים of the words H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוה command H853 אתכם H3117 היום thee this day, H3225 ימין the right hand, H8040 ושׂמאול or the left, H1980 ללכת to go H310 אחרי after H430 אלהים gods H312 אחרים other H5647 לעבדם׃ to serve

15 H1961 והיה But it shall come to pass, H518 אם if H3808 לא thou wilt not H8085 תשׁמע hearken H6963 בקול unto the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H8104 לשׁמר to observe H6213 לעשׂות to do H853 את H3605 כל all H4687 מצותיו his commandments H2708 וחקתיו and his statutes H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוך command H3117 היום thee this day; H935 ובאו shall come H5921 עליך upon H3605 כל that all H7045 הקללות curses H428 האלה these H5381 והשׂיגוך׃ thee, and overtake

16 H779 ארור Cursed H859 אתה thou H5892 בעיר in the city, H779 וארור and cursed H859 אתה thou H7704 בשׂדה׃ in the field.

17 H779 ארור Cursed H2935 טנאך thy basket H4863 ומשׁארתך׃ and thy store.

18 H779 ארור Cursed H6529 פרי the fruit H990 בטנך of thy body, H6529 ופרי and the fruit H127 אדמתך of thy land, H7698 שׁגר the increase H504 אלפיך of thy kine, H6251 ועשׁתרת and the flocks H6629 צאנך׃ of thy sheep.

19 H779 ארור Cursed H859 אתה thou H935 בבאך when thou comest in, H779 וארור and cursed H859 אתה thou H3318 בצאתך׃ when thou goest out.

20 H7971 ישׁלח shall send H3068 יהוה The LORD H853 בך את H3994 המארה upon thee cursing, H853 את H4103 המהומה vexation, H853 ואת H4045 המגערת and rebuke, H3605 בכל in all H4916 משׁלח that thou settest H3027 ידך thine hand H834 אשׁר unto for H6213 תעשׂה to do, H5704 עד until H8045 השׁמדך thou be destroyed, H5704 ועד and until H6 אבדך thou perish H4118 מהר quickly; H6440 מפני because H7455 רע of the wickedness H4611 מעלליך of thy doings, H834 אשׁר whereby H5800 עזבתני׃ thou hast forsaken

21 H1692 ידבק cleave H3068 יהוה The LORD H853 בך את H1698 הדבר shall make the pestilence H5704 עד unto thee, until H3615 כלתו he have consumed H853 אתך H5921 מעל thee from off H127 האדמה the land, H834 אשׁר whither H859 אתה thou H935 בא goest H8033 שׁמה whither H3423 לרשׁתה׃ to possess

22 H5221 יככה shall smite H3068 יהוה The LORD H7829 בשׁחפת thee with a consumption, H6920 ובקדחת and with a fever, H1816 ובדלקת and with an inflammation, H2746 ובחרחר and with an extreme burning, H2719 ובחרב and with the sword, H7711 ובשׁדפון and with blasting, H3420 ובירקון and with mildew; H7291 ורדפוך and they shall pursue H5704 עד thee until H6 אבדך׃ thou perish.

23 H1961 והיו shall be H8064 שׁמיך And thy heaven H834 אשׁר that H5921 על over H7218 ראשׁך thy head H5178 נחשׁת brass, H776 והארץ and the earth H834 אשׁר that H8478 תחתיך is under H1270 ברזל׃ thee iron.

24 H5414 יתן shall make H3068 יהוה The LORD H853 את H4306 מטר the rain H776 ארצך of thy land H80 אבק powder H6083 ועפר and dust: H4480 מן from H8064 השׁמים heaven H3381 ירד shall it come down H5921 עליך upon H5704 עד thee, until H8045 השׁמדך׃ thou be destroyed.

25 H5414 יתנך shall cause H3068 יהוה The LORD H5062 נגף thee to be smitten H6440 לפני before H341 איביך thine enemies: H1870 בדרך way H259 אחד one H3318 תצא thou shalt go out H413 אליו against H7651 ובשׁבעה seven H1870 דרכים ways H5127 תנוס them, and flee H6440 לפניו before H1961 והיית them: and shalt be H2189 לזעוה removed H3605 לכל into all H4467 ממלכות the kingdoms H776 הארץ׃ of the earth.

26 H1961 והיתה shall be H5038 נבלתך And thy carcass H3978 למאכל meat H3605 לכל unto all H5775 עוף fowls H8064 השׁמים of the air, H929 ולבהמת and unto the beasts H776 הארץ of the earth, H369 ואין and no man H2729 מחריד׃ shall frighten away.

27 H5221 יככה will smite H3068 יהוה The LORD H7822 בשׁחין thee with the botch H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H6076 ובעפלים H1618 ובגרב and with the scab, H2775 ובחרס and with the itch, H834 אשׁר whereof H3808 לא not H3201 תוכל thou canst H7495 להרפא׃ be healed.

28 H5221 יככה shall smite H3068 יהוה The LORD H7697 בשׁגעון thee with madness, H5788 ובעורון and blindness, H8541 ובתמהון and astonishment H3824 לבב׃ of heart:

29 H1961 והיית And thou shalt H4959 ממשׁשׁ grope H6672 בצהרים at noonday, H834 כאשׁר as H4959 ימשׁשׁ gropeth H5787 העור the blind H653 באפלה in darkness, H3808 ולא and thou shalt not H6743 תצליח prosper H853 את H1870 דרכיך in thy ways: H1961 והיית and thou shalt be H389 אך only H6231 עשׁוק oppressed H1497 וגזול and spoiled H3605 כל evermore, H3117 הימים evermore, H369 ואין and no man H3467 מושׁיע׃ shall save

30 H802 אשׁה a wife, H781 תארשׂ Thou shalt betroth H376 ואישׁ man H312 אחר and another H7693 ישׁגלנה H1004 בית a house, H1129 תבנה her: thou shalt build H3808 ולא and thou shalt not H3427 תשׁב dwell H3754 בו כרם a vineyard, H5193 תטע therein: thou shalt plant H3808 ולא and shalt not H2490 תחללנו׃ gather the grapes
