Deuteronomy 21:1-9 כי If ימצא be found חלל slain באדמה in the land אשׁר which יהוה the LORD אלהיך thy God נתן giveth לך לרשׁתה thee to possess נפל it, lying בשׂדה in the field, לא it be not נודע known מי who הכהו׃ hath slain

1 H3588 כי If H4672 ימצא be found H2491 חלל slain H127 באדמה in the land H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5414 נתן giveth H3423 לך לרשׁתה thee to possess H5307 נפל it, lying H7704 בשׂדה in the field, H3808 לא it be not H3045 נודע known H4310 מי who H5221 הכהו׃ hath slain

2 H3318 ויצאו shall come forth, H2205 זקניך Then thy elders H8199 ושׁפטיך and thy judges H4058 ומדדו and they shall measure H413 אל unto H5892 הערים the cities H834 אשׁר which H5439 סביבת round about H2491 החלל׃ him that is slain:

3 H1961 והיה And it shall be, H5892 העיר the city H7138 הקרבה next H413 אל unto H2491 החלל the slain man, H3947 ולקחו shall take H2205 זקני even the elders H5892 העיר city H1931 ההוא of that H5697 עגלת a heifer, H1241 בקר a heifer, H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא hath not H5647 עבד been wrought H834 בה אשׁר with, which H3808 לא hath not H4900 משׁכה drawn H5923 בעל׃ in the yoke;

4 H3381 והורדו shall bring down H2205 זקני And the elders H5892 העיר city H1931 ההוא of that H853 את H5697 העגלה the heifer H413 אל unto H5158 נחל valley, H386 איתן a rough H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא is neither H5647 יעבד eared H3808 בו ולא nor H2232 יזרע sown, H6202 וערפו H8033 שׁם there H853 את H5697 העגלה the heifer's H5158 בנחל׃ in the valley:

5 H5066 ונגשׁו shall come near; H3548 הכהנים And the priests H1121 בני the sons H3878 לוי of Levi H3588 כי for H977 בם בחר hath chosen H3068 יהוה them the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H8334 לשׁרתו to minister H1288 ולברך unto him, and to bless H8034 בשׁם in the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD; H5921 ועל and by H6310 פיהם their word H1961 יהיה be H3605 כל shall every H7379 ריב controversy H3605 וכל and every H5061 נגע׃ stroke

6 H3605 וכל And all H2205 זקני the elders H5892 העיר city, H1931 ההוא of that H7138 הקרבים next H413 אל unto H2491 החלל the slain H7364 ירחצו shall wash H853 את H3027 ידיהם their hands H5921 על over H5697 העגלה the heifer H6202 הערופה that is beheaded H5158 בנחל׃ in the valley:

7 H6030 וענו And they shall answer H559 ואמרו and say, H3027 ידינו Our hands H3808 לא have not H8210 שׁפכה shed H853 את H1818 הדם blood, H2088 הזה this H5869 ועינינו have our eyes H3808 לא neither H7200 ראו׃ seen

8 H3722 כפר Be merciful, H5971 לעמך unto thy people H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H834 אשׁר whom H6299 פדית thou hast redeemed, H3068 יהוה O LORD, H408 ואל not H5414 תתן and lay H1818 דם blood H5355 נקי innocent H7130 בקרב charge. H5971 עמך unto thy people H3478 ישׂראל of Israel's H3722 ונכפר shall be forgiven H1992 להם H1818 הדם׃ And the blood

9 H859 ואתה So shalt thou H1197 תבער put away H1818 הדם blood H5355 הנקי the innocent H7130 מקרבך from among H3588 כי you, when H6213 תעשׂה thou shalt do H3477 הישׁר right H5869 בעיני in the sight H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.
