Deuteronomy 1:35-45 אם Surely יראה see אישׁ there shall not one באנשׁים men האלה of these הדור generation הרע evil הזה of this את הארץ land, הטובה that good אשׁר which נשׁבעתי I swore לתת to give לאבתיכם׃ unto your fathers,

35 H518 אם Surely H7200 יראה see H376 אישׁ there shall not one H376 באנשׁים men H428 האלה of these H1755 הדור generation H7451 הרע evil H2088 הזה of this H853 את H776 הארץ land, H2896 הטובה that good H834 אשׁר which H7650 נשׁבעתי I swore H5414 לתת to give H1 לאבתיכם׃ unto your fathers,

36 H2108 זולתי Save H3612 כלב Caleb H1121 בן the son H3312 יפנה of Jephunneh; H1931 הוא he H7200 יראנה shall see H5414 ולו אתן it, and to him will I give H853 את H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר that H1869 דרך he hath trodden H1121 בה ולבניו upon, and to his children, H3282 יען because H834 אשׁר because H4390 מלא he hath wholly H310 אחרי followed H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

37 H1571 גם Also H599 בי התאנף was angry H3068 יהוה the LORD H1558 בגללכם with me for your sakes, H559 לאמר saying, H1571 גם also H859 אתה Thou H3808 לא shalt not H935 תבא go in H8033 שׁם׃ thither.

38 H3091 יהושׁע Joshua H1121 בן the son H5126 נון of Nun, H5975 העמד which standeth H6440 לפניך before H1931 הוא thee, he H935 יבא shall go in H8033 שׁמה thither: H853 אתו H2388 חזק encourage H3588 כי him: for H1931 הוא he H5157 ינחלנה to inherit H853 את H3478 ישׂראל׃ shall cause Israel

39 H2945 וטפכם Moreover your little ones, H834 אשׁר which H559 אמרתם ye said H957 לבז a prey, H1961 יהיה should be H1121 ובניכם and your children, H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא had no knowledge H3045 ידעו had no knowledge H3117 היום in that day H2896 טוב between good H7451 ורע and evil, H1992 המה they H935 יבאו shall go in H8033 שׁמה thither, H5414 ולהם אתננה and unto them will I give H1992 והם it, and they H3423 יירשׁוה׃ shall possess

40 H859 ואתם But you, H6437 פנו turn H5265 לכם וסעו you, and take your journey H4057 המדברה into the wilderness H1870 דרך by the way H3220 ים sea. H5488 סוף׃ of the Red

41 H6030 ותענו Then ye answered H559 ותאמרו and said H413 אלי unto H2398 חטאנו me, We have sinned H3068 ליהוה against the LORD, H587 אנחנו we H5927 נעלה will go up H3898 ונלחמנו and fight, H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H6680 צונו commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God H2296 ותחגרו us. And when ye had girded on H376 אישׁ every man H853 את H3627 כלי his weapons H4421 מלחמתו of war, H1951 ותהינו ye were ready H5927 לעלת to go up H2022 ההרה׃ into the hill.

42 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אלי unto H559 אמר me, Say H3808 להם לא neither H5927 תעלו H3808 ולא you; lest H3898 תלחמו fight; H3588 כי for H369 אינני I not H7130 בקרבכם among H3808 ולא H5062 תנגפו ye be smitten H6440 לפני before H341 איביכם׃ your enemies.

43 H1696 ואדבר So I spoke H413 אליכם unto H3808 ולא you; and ye would not H8085 שׁמעתם hear, H4784 ותמרו but rebelled against H853 את H6310 פי the commandment H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H2102 ותזדו and went presumptuously up H5927 ותעלו and went presumptuously up H2022 ההרה׃ into the hill.

44 H3318 ויצא came out H567 האמרי And the Amorites, H3427 הישׁב which dwelt H2022 בהר mountain, H1931 ההוא in that H7125 לקראתכם against H7291 וירדפו you, and chased H853 אתכם H834 כאשׁר you, as H6213 תעשׂינה do, H1682 הדברים bees H3807 ויכתו and destroyed H853 אתכם H8165 בשׂעיר you in Seir, H5704 עד unto H2767 חרמה׃ Hormah.

45 H7725 ותשׁבו And ye returned H1058 ותבכו and wept H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD; H3808 ולא would not H8085 שׁמע hearken H3068 יהוה but the LORD H6963 בקלכם to your voice, H3808 ולא nor H238 האזין give ear H413 אליכם׃ unto
