Daniel 9:3-10 ואתנה And I set את פני my face אל unto אדני the Lord האלהים God, לבקשׁ to seek תפלה by prayer ותחנונים and supplications, בצום with fasting, ושׂק and sackcloth, ואפר׃ and ashes:

3 H5414 ואתנה And I set H853 את H6440 פני my face H413 אל unto H136 אדני the Lord H430 האלהים God, H1245 לבקשׁ to seek H8605 תפלה by prayer H8469 ותחנונים and supplications, H6685 בצום with fasting, H8242 ושׂק and sackcloth, H665 ואפר׃ and ashes:

4 H6419 ואתפללה And I prayed H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהי my God, H3034 ואתודה and made my confession, H559 ואמרה and said, H577 אנא O H136 אדני Lord, H410 האל God, H1419 הגדול the great H3372 והנורא and dreadful H8104 שׁמר keeping H1285 הברית the covenant H2617 והחסד and mercy H157 לאהביו to them that love H8104 ולשׁמרי him, and to them that keep H4687 מצותיו׃ his commandments;

5 H2398 חטאנו We have sinned, H5753 ועוינו and have committed iniquity, H7561 והרשׁענו and have done wickedly, H4775 ומרדנו and have rebelled, H5493 וסור even by departing H4687 ממצותך from thy precepts H4941 וממשׁפטיך׃ and from thy judgments:

6 H3808 ולא Neither H8085 שׁמענו have we hearkened H413 אל unto H5650 עבדיך thy servants H5030 הנביאים the prophets, H834 אשׁר which H1696 דברו spoke H8034 בשׁמך in thy name H413 אל to H4428 מלכינו our kings, H8269 שׂרינו our princes, H1 ואבתינו and our fathers, H413 ואל and to H3605 כל all H5971 עם the people H776 הארץ׃ of the land.

7 H136 לך אדני O Lord, H6666 הצדקה righteousness H1322 ולנו בשׁת unto thee, but unto us confusion H6440 הפנים of faces, H3117 כיום day; H2088 הזה as at this H376 לאישׁ to the men H3063 יהודה of Judah, H3427 וליושׁבי and to the inhabitants H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem, H3605 ולכל and unto all H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H7138 הקרבים near, H7350 והרחקים and far off, H3605 בכל through all H776 הארצות the countries H834 אשׁר whither H5080 הדחתם thou hast driven H8033 שׁם whither H4604 במעלם them, because of their trespass H834 אשׁר that H4603 מעלו׃ they have trespassed

8 H3068 יהוה O Lord, H1322 לנו בשׁת to us confusion H6440 הפנים of face, H4428 למלכינו to our kings, H8269 לשׂרינו to our princes, H1 ולאבתינו and to our fathers, H834 אשׁר because H2398 חטאנו׃ we have sinned

9 H136 לאדני To the Lord H430 אלהינו our God H7356 הרחמים mercies H5547 והסלחות and forgivenesses, H3588 כי though H4775 מרדנו׃ we have rebelled

10 H3808 ולא Neither H8085 שׁמענו have we obeyed H6963 בקול the voice H3069 יהוה H430 אלהינו our God, H1980 ללכת to walk H8451 בתורתיו in his laws, H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן he set H6440 לפנינו before H3027 ביד us by H5650 עבדיו his servants H5030 הנביאים׃ the prophets.
