Daniel 5:18-31

  18 H607 אנתה O thou H4430 מלכא king, H426 אלהא God H5943 עליא the most high H4437 מלכותא a kingdom, H7238 ורבותא and majesty, H3367 ויקרא and glory, H1923 והדרה and honor: H3052 יהב gave H5020 לנבכדנצר Nebuchadnezzar H2 אבוך׃ thy father

  19 H4481 ומן And for H7238 רבותא the majesty H1768 די that H3052 יהב he gave H3606 לה כל him, all H5972 עממיא people, H524 אמיא nations, H3961 ולשׁניא and languages, H1934 הוו trembled H2112 זאעין trembled H1763 ודחלין and feared H4481 מן before H6925 קדמוהי before H1768 די him: whom H1934 הוה he would H6634 צבא he would H1934 הוא he slew; H6992 קטל he slew; H1768 ודי and whom H1934 הוה he would H6634 צבא he would H1934 הוה he kept alive; H2418 מחא he kept alive; H1768 ודי and whom H1934 הוה he would H6634 צבא he would H1934 הוה he set up; H7313 מרים he set up; H1768 ודי and whom H1934 הוה he would H6634 צבא he would H1934 הוה he put down. H8214 משׁפיל׃ he put down.

  20 H1768 וכדי But when H7313 רם was lifted up, H3825 לבבה his heart H7308 ורוחה and his mind H8631 תקפת hardened H2103 להזדה in pride, H5182 הנחת he was deposed H4481 מן from H3764 כרסא throne, H4437 מלכותה his kingly H3367 ויקרה his glory H5709 העדיו and they took H4481 מנה׃ from

  21 H4481 ומן from H1123 בני the sons H606 אנשׁא of men; H2957 טריד And he was driven H3825 ולבבה and his heart H5974 עם like H2423 חיותא the beasts, H7739 שׁוי was made H5974 ועם with H6167 ערדיא the wild asses: H4070 מדורה and his dwelling H6211 עשׂבא him with grass H8450 כתורין like oxen, H2939 יטעמונה they fed H2920 ומטל with the dew H8065 שׁמיא of heaven; H1655 גשׁמה and his body H6647 יצטבע was wet H5705 עד till H1768 די till H3046 ידע he knew H1768 די that H7990 שׁליט ruled H426 אלהא God H5943 עליא the most high H4437 במלכות in the kingdom H606 אנשׁא of men, H4479 ולמן it whomsoever H1768 די it whomsoever H6634 יצבה he will. H6966 יהקים and he appointeth H5921 עליה׃  

  22 H607 ואנתה And thou H1247 ברה his son, H1113 בלשׁאצר O Belshazzar, H3809 לא hast not H8214 השׁפלת humbled H3825 לבבך thine heart, H3606 כל though H6903 קבל   H1768 די   H3606 כל all H1836 דנה this; H3046 ידעת׃ thou knewest

  23 H5922 ועל against H4756 מרא the Lord H8065 שׁמיא of heaven; H7313 התרוממת But hast lifted up thyself H3984 ולמאניא the vessels H1768 די of H1005 ביתה his house H858 היתיו and they have brought H6925 קדמיך before H607 ואנתה thee, and thou, H7261 ורברבניך and thy lords, H7695 שׁגלתך thy wives, H3904 ולחנתך and thy concubines, H2562 חמרא wine H8355 שׁתין have drunk H426 בהון ולאלהי the gods H3702 כספא of silver, H1722 ודהבא and gold, H5174 נחשׁא of brass, H6523 פרזלא iron, H636 אעא wood, H69 ואבנא and stone, H1768 די which H3809 לא not, H2370 חזין see H3809 ולא nor H8086 שׁמעין hear, H3809 ולא nor H3046 ידעין know: H7624 שׁבחת in them; and thou hast praised H426 ולאלהא and the God H1768 די in whose H5396 נשׁמתך thy breath H3028 בידה hand H3606 וכל and whose all H735 ארחתך thy ways, H3809 לה לא hast thou not H1922 הדרת׃ glorified:

  24 H116 באדין Then H4481 מן from H6925 קדמוהי from H7972 שׁליח sent H6447 פסא was the part H1768 די of H3028 ידא the hand H3792 וכתבא writing H1836 דנה him; and this H7560 רשׁים׃ was written.

  25 H1836 ודנה And this H3792 כתבא the writing H1768 די that H7560 רשׁים was written, H4484 מנא MENE, H4484 מנא MENE, H8625 תקל TEKEL, H6537 ופרסין׃ UPHARSIN.

  26 H1836 דנה This H6591 פשׁר the interpretation H4406 מלתא of the thing: H4484 מנא MENE; H4483 מנה hath numbered H426 אלהא God H4437 מלכותך thy kingdom, H8000 והשׁלמה׃ and finished

  27 H8625 תקל TEKEL; H8625 תקילתה Thou art weighed H3977 במאזניא in the balances, H7912 והשׁתכחת and art found H2627 חסיר׃ wanting.

  28 H6537 פרס PERES; H6537 פריסת is divided, H4437 מלכותך Thy kingdom H3052 ויהיבת and given H4076 למדי to the Medes H6540 ופרס׃ and Persians.

  29 H116 באדין Then H560 אמר commanded H1113 בלשׁאצר Belshazzar, H3848 והלבישׁו and they clothed H1841 לדניאל Daniel H711 ארגונא with scarlet, H2002 והמונכא and a chain H1768 די of H1722 דהבא gold H5922 על about H6676 צוארה his neck, H3745 והכרזו and made a proclamation H5922 עלוהי concerning H1768 די him, that H1934 להוא he should be H7990 שׁליט ruler H8531 תלתא the third H4437 במלכותא׃ in the kingdom.

  30 H3916 בה בליליא In that night H6992 קטיל slain. H1113 בלאשׁצר was Belshazzar H4430 מלכא the king H3779 כשׂדיא׃ of the Chaldeans

  31 H1868 ודריושׁ And Darius H4077 מדיא the Median H6902 קבל took H4437 מלכותא the kingdom, H1247 כבר old. H8140 שׁנין years H8361 שׁתין about threescore H8648 ותרתין׃ and two
