8 H7650 נשׁבע hath sworn H136 אדני The Lord H3069 יהוה GOD H5315 בנפשׁו by himself, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי the God H6635 צבאות of hosts, H8374 מתאב abhor H595 אנכי I H853 את H1347 גאון the excellency H3290 יעקב of Jacob, H759 וארמנתיו his palaces: H8130 שׂנאתי and hate H5462 והסגרתי therefore will I deliver up H5892 עיר the city H4393 ומלאה׃ with all that is therein.

9 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H518 אם if H3498 יותרו there remain H6235 עשׂרה ten H376 אנשׁים men H1004 בבית house, H259 אחד in one H4191 ומתו׃ that they shall die.

10 H5375 ונשׂאו shall take him up, H1730 דודו And a man's uncle H5635 ומסרפו and he that burneth H3318 להוציא him, to bring out H6106 עצמים the bones H4480 מן out of H1004 הבית the house, H559 ואמר and shall say H834 לאשׁר unto him that H3411 בירכתי by the sides H1004 הבית of the house, H5750 העוד yet H5973 עמך with H559 ואמר thee? and he shall say, H657 אפס No. H559 ואמר Then shall he say, H2013 הס Hold thy tongue: H3588 כי for H3808 לא we may not H2142 להזכיר make mention H8034 בשׁם of the name H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

11 H3588 כי For, H2009 הנה behold, H3068 יהוה the LORD H6680 מצוה commandeth, H5221 והכה and he will smite H1004 הבית house H1419 הגדול the great H7447 רסיסים with breaches, H1004 והבית house H6996 הקטן and the little H1233 בקעים׃ with clefts.
