2 Samuel 19:31-40

  31 H1271 וברזלי And Barzillai H1569 הגלעדי the Gileadite H3381 ירד came down H7274 מרגלים   H5674 ויעבר and went over H854 את with H4428 המלך the king, H3383 הירדן Jordan H7971 לשׁלחו to conduct him over H853 את   H3383 בירדן׃ Jordan.

  32 H1271 וברזלי Now Barzillai H2204 זקן aged H3966 מאד was a very H1121 בן old: H8084 שׁמנים man, fourscore H8141 שׁנה years H1931 והוא and he H3557 כלכל of sustenance H853 את   H4428 המלך had provided the king H7871 בשׁיבתו while he lay H4266 במחנים at Mahanaim; H3588 כי for H376 אישׁ man. H1419 גדול great H1931 הוא he H3966 מאד׃ a very

  33 H559 ויאמר said H4428 המלך And the king H413 אל unto H1271 ברזלי Barzillai, H859 אתה thou H5674 עבר Come H854 אתי over with H3557 וכלכלתי me, and I will feed H853 אתך   H5978 עמדי   H3389 בירושׁלם׃ me in Jerusalem.

  34 H559 ויאמר said H1271 ברזלי And Barzillai H413 אל unto H4428 המלך the king, H4100 כמה How H3117 ימי long H8147 שׁני   H2416 חיי have I to live, H3588 כי that H5927 אעלה I should go up H854 את with H4428 המלך the king H3389 ירושׁלם׃ unto Jerusalem?

  35 H1121 בן old: H8084 שׁמנים fourscore H8141 שׁנה years H595 אנכי I H3117 היום this day H3045 האדע can I discern H996 בין between H2896 טוב good H7451 לרע and evil? H518 אם can H2938 יטעם taste H5650 עבדך thy servant H853 את   H834 אשׁר what H398 אכל I eat H853 ואת   H834 אשׁר or what H8354 אשׁתה I drink? H518 אם can H8085 אשׁמע I hear H5750 עוד any more H6963 בקול the voice H7891 שׁרים of singing men H7891 ושׁרות and singing women? H4100 ולמה wherefore H1961 יהיה be H5650 עבדך then should thy servant H5750 עוד yet H4853 למשׂא a burden H413 אל unto H113 אדני my lord H4428 המלך׃ the king?

  38 H559 ויאמר answered, H4428 המלך And the king H854 אתי with H5674 יעבר shall go over H3643 כמהם Chimham H589 ואני me, and I H6213 אעשׂה will do H853 לו את   H2896 הטוב good H5869 בעיניך to him that which shall seem H3605 וכל unto thee: and whatsoever H834 אשׁר unto thee: and whatsoever H977 תבחר thou shalt require H5921 עלי of H6213 אעשׂה׃ me, will I do

  39 H5674 ויעבר went over H3605 כל And all H5971 העם the people H853 את   H3383 הירדן Jordan. H4428 והמלך And when the king H5674 עבר was come over, H5401 וישׁק kissed H4428 המלך the king H1271 לברזלי Barzillai, H1288 ויברכהו and blessed H7725 וישׁב him; and he returned H4725 למקמו׃ unto his own place.

  40 H5674 ויעבר went on H4428 המלך Then the king H1537 הגלגלה to Gilgal, H3643 וכמהן and Chimham H5674 עבר went on H5973 עמו with H3605 וכל him: and all H5971 עם the people H3063 יהודה of Judah H5674 ויעברו conducted H853 את   H4428 המלך the king, H1571 וגם and also H2677 חצי half H5971 עם the people H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.
