2 Kings 6:25-29 ויהי And there was רעב famine גדול a great בשׁמרון in Samaria: והנה and, behold, צרים they besieged עליה they besieged עד it, until היות was ראשׁ head חמור an ass's בשׁמנים for fourscore כסף of silver, ורבע and the fourth part הקב of a cab חרייונים בחמשׁה for five כסף׃ of silver.

25 H1961 ויהי And there was H7458 רעב famine H1419 גדול a great H8111 בשׁמרון in Samaria: H2009 והנה and, behold, H6696 צרים they besieged H5921 עליה they besieged H5704 עד it, until H1961 היות was H7218 ראשׁ head H2543 חמור an ass's H8084 בשׁמנים for fourscore H3701 כסף of silver, H7255 ורבע and the fourth part H6894 הקב of a cab H2755 חרייונים H2568 בחמשׁה for five H3701 כסף׃ of silver.

26 H1961 ויהי was H4428 מלך And as the king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H5674 עבר passing by H5921 על upon H2346 החמה the wall, H802 ואשׁה a woman H6817 צעקה there cried H413 אליו unto H559 לאמר him, saying, H3467 הושׁיעה Help, H113 אדני my lord, H4428 המלך׃ O king.

27 H559 ויאמר And he said, H408 אל do not H3467 יושׁעך help H3068 יהוה If the LORD H370 מאין thee, whence H3467 אושׁיעך shall I help H4480 המן thee, whence H1637 הגרן the barnfloor, H176 או or H4480 מן thee? out of H3342 היקב׃ the winepress?

28 H559 ויאמר said H4428 לה המלך And the king H4100 מה unto her, What H559 לך ותאמר aileth thee? And she answered, H802 האשׁה woman H2063 הזאת This H559 אמרה said H413 אלי unto H5414 תני me, Give H853 את H1121 בנך thy son, H398 ונאכלנו that we may eat H3117 היום him today, H853 ואת H1121 בני my son H398 נאכל and we will eat H4279 מחר׃ tomorrow.

29 H1310 ונבשׁל So we boiled H853 את H1121 בני my son, H398 ונאכלהו and did eat H559 ואמר him: and I said H413 אליה unto H3117 ביום day, H312 האחר her on the next H5414 תני Give H853 את H1121 בנך thy son, H398 ונאכלנו that we may eat H2244 ותחבא him: and she hath hid H853 את H1121 בנה׃ her son.
