21 H7971 וישׁלח sent H3068 יהוה And the LORD H4397 מלאך an angel, H3582 ויכחד which cut off H3605 כל all H1368 גבור the mighty men H2428 חיל of valor, H5057 ונגיד and the leaders H8269 ושׂר and captains H4264 במחנה in the camp H4428 מלך of the king H804 אשׁור of Assyria. H7725 וישׁב So he returned H1322 בבשׁת with shame H6440 פנים of face H776 לארצו to his own land. H935 ויבא And when he was come into H1004 בית the house H430 אלהיו of his god, H3329 ומיציאו they that came forth H4578 מעיו of his own bowels H8033 שׁם him there H5307 הפילהו slew H2719 בחרב׃ with the sword.

22 H3467 ויושׁע saved H3068 יהוה Thus the LORD H853 את H2396 יחזקיהו H853 ואת H3427 ישׁבי and the inhabitants H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem H3027 מיד from the hand H5576 סנחריב of Sennacherib H4428 מלך the king H804 אשׁור of Assyria, H3027 ומיד and from the hand H3605 כל of all H5095 וינהלם and guided H5439 מסביב׃ them on every side.

23 H7227 ורבים And many H935 מביאים brought H4503 מנחה gifts H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H3389 לירושׁלם to Jerusalem, H4030 ומגדנות and presents H2396 ליחזקיהו H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah: H5375 וינשׂא so that he was magnified H5869 לעיני in the sight H3605 כל of all H1471 הגוים nations H310 מאחרי H3651 כן׃

24 H3117 בימים days H1992 ההם In those H2470 חלה was sick H2396 יחזקיהו H5704 עד to H4191 למות the death, H6419 ויתפלל and prayed H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD: H559 ויאמר and he spoke H4159 לו ומופת him a sign. H5414 נתן׃ unto him, and he gave

25 H3808 ולא rendered not again H1576 כגמל according to the benefit H5921 עליו unto H7725 השׁיב rendered not again H2396 יחזקיהו H3588 כי him; for H1361 גבה was lifted up: H3820 לבו his heart H1961 ויהי therefore there was H5921 עליו upon H7110 קצף wrath H5921 ועל him, and upon H3063 יהודה Judah H3389 וירושׁלם׃ and Jerusalem.

26 H3665 ויכנע humbled himself H2396 יחזקיהו H1363 בגבה for the pride H3820 לבו of his heart, H1931 הוא he H3427 וישׁבי and the inhabitants H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem, H3808 ולא not H935 בא came H5921 עליהם upon H7110 קצף so that the wrath H3068 יהוה of the LORD H3117 בימי them in the days H2396 יחזקיהו׃
