2 Chronicles 2:8-16 ושׁלח Send לי עצי trees, ארזים me also cedar ברושׁים fir trees, ואלגומים and algum trees, מהלבנון in Lebanon; כי for אני I ידעתי know אשׁר that עבדיך thy servants יודעים can skill לכרות to cut עצי timber לבנון והנה and, behold, עבדי my servants עם with עבדיך׃ thy servants,

9 H3559 ולהכין Even to prepare H6086 לי עצים me timber H7230 לרב in abundance: H3588 כי for H1004 הבית the house H834 אשׁר which H589 אני I H1129 בונה am about to build H1419 גדול great. H6381 והפלא׃ wonderful

10 H2009 והנה And, behold, H2404 לחטבים the hewers H3772 לכרתי that cut H6086 העצים timber, H5414 נתתי I will give H2406 חטים wheat, H4347 מכות of beaten H5650 לעבדיך to thy servants, H3734 כרים measures H6242 עשׂרים twenty H505 אלף thousand H8184 ושׂערים of barley, H3734 כרים measures H6242 עשׂרים and twenty H505 אלף thousand H3196 ויין of wine, H1324 בתים baths H6242 עשׂרים and twenty H505 אלף thousand H8081 ושׁמן of oil. 11 H559 ויאמר answered H2361 חורם Then Huram H4428 מלך the king H6865 צר of Tyre H3791 בכתב in writing, H7971 וישׁלח which he sent H413 אל to H8010 שׁלמה Solomon, H160 באהבת hath loved H3068 יהוה Because the LORD H853 את H5971 עמו his people, H5414 נתנך he hath made H5921 עליהם over H4428 מלך׃ thee king

12 H559 ויאמר said H2361 חורם Huram H1288 ברוך moreover, Blessed H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה made H853 את H8064 השׁמים heaven H853 ואת H776 הארץ and earth, H834 אשׁר who H5414 נתן hath given H1732 לדויד to David H4428 המלך the king H1121 בן son, H2450 חכם a wise H3045 יודע endued H7922 שׂכל with prudence H998 ובינה and understanding, H834 אשׁר that H1129 יבנה might build H1004 בית a house H3068 ליהוה for the LORD, H1004 ובית and a house H4438 למלכותו׃ for his kingdom.

13 H6258 ועתה And now H7971 שׁלחתי I have sent H376 אישׁ man, H2450 חכם a cunning H3045 יודע endued H998 בינה with understanding, H2361 לחורם of Huram H1 אבי׃ my father's,

14 H1121 בן The son H802 אשׁה of a woman H4480 מן of H1323 בנות the daughters H1835 דן of Dan, H1 ואביו and his father H376 אישׁ a man H6876 צרי of Tyre, H3045 יודע skillful H6213 לעשׂות to work H2091 בזהב in gold, H3701 ובכסף and in silver, H5178 בנחשׁת in brass, H1270 בברזל in iron, H68 באבנים in stone, H6086 ובעצים and in timber, H713 בארגמן in purple, H8504 בתכלת in blue, H948 ובבוץ and in fine linen, H3758 ובכרמיל and in crimson; H6605 ולפתח also to grave H3605 כל any manner H6603 פתוח of graving, H2803 ולחשׁב and to find out H3605 כל every H4284 מחשׁבת device H834 אשׁר which H5414 ינתן shall be put H5973 לו עם to him, with H2450 חכמיך thy cunning men, H2450 וחכמי and with the cunning men H113 אדני of my lord H1732 דויד David H1 אביך׃ thy father.

15 H6258 ועתה Now H2406 החטים therefore the wheat, H8184 והשׂערים and the barley, H8081 השׁמן the oil, H3196 והיין and the wine, H834 אשׁר which H559 אמר hath spoken H113 אדני my lord H7971 ישׁלח of, let him send H5650 לעבדיו׃ unto his servants:

16 H587 ואנחנו And we H3772 נכרת will cut H6086 עצים wood H4480 מן out of H3844 הלבנון Lebanon, H3605 ככל as much as thou H6878 צרכך shalt need: H935 ונביאם and we will bring H7513 לך רפסדות it to thee in floats H5921 על by H3220 ים sea H3305 יפו to Joppa; H859 ואתה and thou H5927 תעלה H853 אתם H3389 ירושׁלם׃ to Jerusalem.
