1 Samuel 7:10-12 ויהי was שׁמואל And as Samuel מעלה offering up העולה the burnt offering, ופלשׁתים the Philistines נגשׁו drew near למלחמה to battle בישׂראל against Israel: וירעם thundered יהוה but the LORD בקול thunder גדול with a great ביום day ההוא on that על upon פלשׁתים the Philistines, ויהמם and discomfited וינגפו them; and they were smitten לפני before ישׂראל׃ Israel.

11 H3318 ויצאו went out H582 אנשׁי H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H4480 מן of H4709 המצפה Mizpeh, H7291 וירדפו and pursued H853 את H6430 פלשׁתים the Philistines, H5221 ויכום and smote H5704 עד them, until H8478 מתחת under H1033 לבית כר׃ Beth-car.

12 H3947 ויקח took H8050 שׁמואל Then Samuel H68 אבן stone, H259 אחת a H7760 וישׂם and set H996 בין between H4709 המצפה Mizpeh H996 ובין H8129 השׁן and Shen, H7121 ויקרא and called H853 את H8034 שׁמה the name H72 אבן העזר of it Ebenezer, H559 ויאמר saying, H5704 עד H2008 הנה H5826 עזרנו helped H3068 יהוה׃ hath the LORD
