1 Samuel 27:1-3 ויאמר said דוד And David אל in לבו his heart, עתה I shall now אספה perish יום day אחד one ביד by the hand שׁאול of Saul: אין nothing לי טוב better כי for me than המלט so shall I escape אמלט אל into ארץ the land פלשׁתים of the Philistines; ונואשׁ shall despair ממני of שׁאול and Saul לבקשׁני me, to seek עוד me any more בכל in any גבול coast ישׂראל of Israel: ונמלטתי מידו׃ out of his hand.
