1 Samuel 25:4-8 וישׁמע heard דוד And David במדבר in the wilderness כי that גזז did shear נבל Nabal את צאנו׃ his sheep.

5 H7971 וישׁלח sent out H1732 דוד And David H6235 עשׂרה ten H5288 נערים young men, H559 ויאמר said H1732 דוד and David H5288 לנערים unto the young men, H5927 עלו Get you up H3760 כרמלה to Carmel, H935 ובאתם and go H413 אל to H5037 נבל Nabal, H7592 ושׁאלתם and greet H8034 לו בשׁמי him in my name: H7965 לשׁלום׃ and greet

6 H559 ואמרתם shall ye say H3541 כה And thus H2416 לחי to him that liveth H859 ואתה both to thee, H7965 שׁלום Peace H1004 וביתך to thine house, H7965 שׁלום and peace H3605 וכל unto all H834 אשׁר that H7965 לך שׁלום׃ and peace

7 H6258 ועתה And now H8085 שׁמעתי I have heard H3588 כי that H1494 גזזים thou hast shearers: H6258 לך עתה now H7462 הרעים thy shepherds H834 אשׁר which H1961 לך היו were H5973 עמנו with H3808 לא them not, H3637 הכלמנום us, we hurt H3808 ולא neither H6485 נפקד missing H3972 להם מאומה was there aught H3605 כל unto them, all H3117 ימי the while H1961 היותם they were H3760 בכרמל׃ in Carmel.

8 H7592 שׁאל Ask H853 את H5288 נעריך thy young men, H5046 ויגידו and they will show H4672 לך וימצאו find H5288 הנערים thee. Wherefore let the young men H2580 חן favor H5869 בעיניך in thine eyes: H3588 כי for H5921 על in H3117 יום day: H2896 טוב a good H935 בנו we come H5414 תנה give, H4994 נא I pray thee, H853 את H834 אשׁר whatsoever H4672 תמצא cometh H3027 ידך to thine hand H5650 לעבדיך unto thy servants, H1121 ולבנך and to thy son H1732 לדוד׃ David.
