1 Samuel 22:11-19

  11 H7971 וישׁלח sent H4428 המלך Then the king H7121 לקרא to call H853 את   H288 אחימלך Ahimelech H1121 בן the son H285 אחיטוב of Ahitub, H3548 הכהן the priest, H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H1004 בית house, H1 אביו his father's H3548 הכהנים the priests H834 אשׁר that H5011 בנב in Nob: H935 ויבאו and they came H3605 כלם all H413 אל of them to H4428 המלך׃ the king.

  12 H559 ויאמר said, H7586 שׁאול And Saul H8085 שׁמע Hear H4994 נא now, H1121 בן thou son H285 אחיטוב of Ahitub. H559 ויאמר And he answered, H2005 הנני   H113 אדני׃ I my lord.

  13 H559 ויאמר said H413 אלו unto H7586 שׁאול And Saul H4100 למה him, Why H7194 קשׁרתם have ye conspired H5921 עלי against H859 אתה me, thou H1121 ובן and the son H3448 ישׁי of Jesse, H5414 בתתך in that thou hast given H3899 לו לחם him bread, H2719 וחרב and a sword, H7592 ושׁאול and hast inquired H430 לו באלהים of God H6965 לקום for him, that he should rise H413 אלי against H693 לארב me, to lie in wait, H3117 כיום day? H2088 הזה׃ as at this

  14 H6030 ויען answered H288 אחימלך Then Ahimelech H853 את   H4428 המלך the king, H559 ויאמר and said, H4310 ומי And who H3605 בכל among all H5650 עבדיך thy servants H1732 כדוד as David, H539 נאמן faithful H2860 וחתן son-in-law, H4428 המלך which is the king's H5493 וסר and goeth H413 אל at H4928 משׁמעתך thy bidding, H3513 ונכבד and is honorable H1004 בביתך׃ in thine house?

  15 H3117 היום Did I then H2490 החלתי begin H7592 לשׁאול to inquire H7592 לו   H430 באלהים of God H2486 חלילה for him? be it far H408 לי אל from me: let not H7760 ישׂם impute H4428 המלך the king H5650 בעבדו unto his servant, H1697 דבר thing H3605 בכל to all H1004 בית the house H1 אבי of my father: H3588 כי for H3808 לא nothing H3045 ידע knew H5650 עבדך thy servant H3605 בכל of all H2063 זאת this, H1697 דבר   H6996 קטן less H176 או or H1419 גדול׃ more.

  16 H559 ויאמר said, H4428 המלך And the king H4191 מות   H4191 תמות   H288 אחימלך Ahimelech, H859 אתה thou, H3605 וכל and all H1004 בית house. H1 אביך׃ thy father's

  17 H559 ויאמר said H4428 המלך And the king H7323 לרצים unto the footmen H5324 הנצבים that stood H5921 עליו about H5437 סבו him, Turn, H4191 והמיתו and slay H3548 כהני the priests H3068 יהוה of the LORD; H3588 כי because H1571 גם also H3027 ידם their hand H5973 עם with H1732 דוד David, H3588 וכי and because H3045 ידעו they knew H3588 כי when H1272 ברח fled, H1931 הוא he H3808 ולא and did not H1540 גלו show H853 את   H241 אזנו it to me. H3808 ולא not H14 אבו would H5650 עבדי But the servants H4428 המלך of the king H7971 לשׁלח put forth H853 את   H3027 ידם their hand H6293 לפגע to fall H3548 בכהני upon the priests H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

  18 H559 ויאמר said H4428 המלך And the king H1673 לדויג to Doeg, H5437 סב Turn H859 אתה thou, H6293 ופגע and fall H3548 בכהנים upon the priests. H5437 ויסב turned, H1673 דויג And Doeg H130 האדמי the Edomite H6293 ויפגע fell H1931 הוא and he H3548 בכהנים upon the priests, H4191 וימת and slew H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא on that H8084 שׁמנים fourscore H2568 וחמשׁה and five H376 אישׁ persons H5375 נשׂא that did wear H646 אפוד ephod. H906 בד׃ a linen

  19 H853 ואת   H5011 נב And Nob, H5892 עיר the city H3548 הכהנים of the priests, H5221 הכה smote H6310 לפי he with the edge H2719 חרב of the sword, H376 מאישׁ both men H5704 ועד   H802 אשׁה and women, H5768 מעולל children H5704 ועד   H3243 יונק and sucklings, H7794 ושׁור and oxen, H2543 וחמור and asses, H7716 ושׂה and sheep, H6310 לפי with the edge H2719 חרב׃ of the sword.
