5 H3553 וכובע And a helmet H5178 נחשׁת of brass H5921 על upon H7218 ראשׁו his head, H8302 ושׁריון with a coat H7193 קשׂקשׂים of mail; H1931 הוא and he H3847 לבושׁ armed H4948 ומשׁקל and the weight H8302 השׁריון of the coat H2568 חמשׁת five H505 אלפים thousand H8255 שׁקלים shekels H5178 נחשׁת׃ of brass.

6 H4697 ומצחת And greaves H5178 נחשׁת of brass H5921 על upon H7272 רגליו his legs, H3591 וכידון and a target H5178 נחשׁת of brass H996 בין between H3802 כתפיו׃ his shoulders.

7 H2671 וחץ And the staff H2595 חניתו of his spear H4500 כמנור beam; H707 ארגים like a weaver's H3852 ולהבת head H2595 חניתו and his spear's H8337 שׁשׁ six H3967 מאות hundred H8255 שׁקלים shekels H1270 ברזל of iron: H5375 ונשׂא and one bearing H6793 הצנה a shield H1980 הלך went H6440 לפניו׃ before

8 H5975 ויעמד And he stood H7121 ויקרא and cried H413 אל unto H4634 מערכת the armies H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H559 ויאמר and said H4100 להם למה unto them, Why H3318 תצאו are ye come out H6186 לערך in array? H4421 מלחמה to set battle H3808 הלוא not H595 אנכי I H6430 הפלשׁתי a Philistine, H859 ואתם and ye H5650 עבדים servants H7586 לשׁאול to Saul? H1262 ברו choose H376 לכם אישׁ you a man H3381 וירד for you, and let him come down H413 אלי׃ to

9 H518 אם If H3201 יוכל he be able H3898 להלחם to fight H854 אתי with H5221 והכני me, and to kill H1961 והיינו me, then will we be H5650 לכם לעבדים your servants: H518 ואם but if H589 אני I H3201 אוכל prevail H5221 לו והכיתיו against him, and kill H1961 והייתם him, then shall ye be H5650 לנו לעבדים our servants, H5647 ועבדתם and serve H853 אתנו׃

10 H559 ויאמר said, H6430 הפלשׁתי And the Philistine H589 אני I H2778 חרפתי defy H853 את H4634 מערכות the armies H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3117 היום day; H2088 הזה this H5414 תנו give H376 לי אישׁ me a man, H3898 ונלחמה that we may fight H3162 יחד׃ together.
