1 Samuel 14:24 ואישׁ And the men ישׂראל of Israel נגשׂ were distressed ביום day: ההוא that ויאל had adjured שׁאול for Saul את העם the people, לאמר saying, ארור Cursed האישׁ the man אשׁר that יאכל eateth לחם food עד until הערב evening, ונקמתי that I may be avenged מאיבי on mine enemies. ולא טעם tasted כל העם of the people לחם׃ food.
