23 H559 ויאמר And he said, H3068 יהוה LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H369 אין no H3644 כמוך like thee, H430 אלהים God H8064 בשׁמים in heaven H4605 ממעל above, H5921 ועל or on H776 הארץ earth H8478 מתחת beneath, H8104 שׁמר who keepest H1285 הברית covenant H2617 והחסד and mercy H5650 לעבדיך with thy servants H1980 ההלכים that walk H6440 לפניך before H3605 בכל thee with all H3820 לבם׃ their heart:

24 H834 אשׁר Who H8104 שׁמרת hast kept H5650 לעבדך with thy servant H1732 דוד David H1 אבי my father H853 את H834 אשׁר that H1696 דברת thou promisedst H1696 לו ותדבר him: thou spakest H6310 בפיך also with thy mouth, H3027 ובידך with thine hand, H4390 מלאת and hast fulfilled H3117 כיום day. H2088 הזה׃ as this

25 H6258 ועתה Therefore now, H3069 יהוה H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H8104 שׁמר keep H5650 לעבדך with thy servant H1732 דוד David H1 אבי my father H853 את H834 אשׁר that H1696 דברת thou promisedst H559 לו לאמר him, saying, H3808 לא There shall not H3772 יכרת fail H376 לך אישׁ thee a man H6440 מלפני in my sight H3427 ישׁב to sit H5921 על on H3678 כסא the throne H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H7535 רק so H518 אם that H8104 ישׁמרו take heed to H1121 בניך thy children H853 את H1870 דרכם their way, H1980 ללכת that they walk H6440 לפני before H834 כאשׁר me as H1980 הלכת thou hast walked H6440 לפני׃ before

26 H6258 ועתה And now, H430 אלהי O God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H539 יאמן be verified, H4994 נא I pray thee, H1697 דבריך let thy word, H834 אשׁר which H1696 דברת thou spakest H5650 לעבדך unto thy servant H1732 דוד David H1 אבי׃ my father.

27 H3588 כי But H552 האמנם indeed H3427 ישׁב dwell H430 אלהים will God H5921 על on H776 הארץ the earth? H2009 הנה behold, H8064 השׁמים the heaven H8064 ושׁמי and heaven H8064 השׁמים of heavens H3808 לא cannot H3557 יכלכלוך contain H637 אף thee; how much less H3588 כי thee; how much less H1004 הבית house H2088 הזה this H834 אשׁר that H1129 בניתי׃ I have built?

28 H6437 ופנית Yet have thou respect H413 אל unto H8605 תפלת the prayer H5650 עבדך of thy servant, H413 ואל and to H8467 תחנתו his supplication, H3068 יהוה O LORD H430 אלהי my God, H8085 לשׁמע to hearken H413 אל unto H7440 הרנה the cry H413 ואל and to H8605 התפלה the prayer, H834 אשׁר which H5650 עבדך thy servant H6419 מתפלל prayeth H6440 לפניך before H3117 היום׃ thee today:

29 H1961 להיות may be H5869 עינך That thine eyes H6605 פתחות open H413 אל toward H1004 הבית house H2088 הזה this H3915 לילה night H3117 ויום and day, H413 אל toward H4725 המקום the place H834 אשׁר of which H559 אמרת thou hast said, H1961 יהיה shall be H8034 שׁמי My name H8033 שׁם there: H8085 לשׁמע that thou mayest hearken H413 אל unto H8605 התפלה the prayer H834 אשׁר which H6419 יתפלל shall make H5650 עבדך thy servant H413 אל toward H4725 המקום place. H2088 הזה׃ this

30 H8085 ושׁמעת And hearken H413 אל thou to H8467 תחנת the supplication H5650 עבדך of thy servant, H5971 ועמך and of thy people H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H834 אשׁר when H6419 יתפללו they shall pray H413 אל toward H4725 המקום place: H2088 הזה this H859 ואתה thou H8085 תשׁמע and hear H413 אל in H4725 מקום place: H3427 שׁבתך thy dwelling H413 אל H8064 השׁמים heaven H8085 ושׁמעת and when thou hearest, H5545 וסלחת׃ forgive.

31 H853 את H834 אשׁר If H2398 יחטא trespass H376 אישׁ any man H7453 לרעהו against his neighbor, H5378 ונשׁא H423 בו אלה and an oath H422 להאלתו upon him to cause him to swear, H935 ובא come H423 אלה H6440 לפני before H4196 מזבחך thine altar H1004 בבית house: H2088 הזה׃ in this

32 H859 ואתה thou H8085 תשׁמע Then hear H8064 השׁמים in heaven, H6213 ועשׂית and do, H8199 ושׁפטת and judge H853 את H5650 עבדיך thy servants, H7561 להרשׁיע condemning H7563 רשׁע the wicked, H5414 לתת to bring H1870 דרכו his way H7218 בראשׁו upon his head; H6663 ולהצדיק and justifying H6662 צדיק the righteous, H5414 לתת to give H6666 לו כצדקתו׃ him according to his righteousness.

33 H5062 בהנגף be smitten down H5971 עמך When thy people H3478 ישׂראל Israel H6440 לפני before H341 אויב the enemy, H834 אשׁר because H2398 יחטאו they have sinned H7725 לך ושׁבו against thee, and shall turn again H413 אליך to H3034 והודו thee, and confess H853 את H8034 שׁמך thy name, H6419 והתפללו and pray, H2603 והתחננו and make supplication H413 אליך unto H1004 בבית house: H2088 הזה׃ thee in this

34 H859 ואתה thou H8085 תשׁמע Then hear H8064 השׁמים in heaven, H5545 וסלחת and forgive H2403 לחטאת the sin H5971 עמך of thy people H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H7725 והשׁבתם and bring them again H413 אל unto H127 האדמה the land H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתת thou gavest H1 לאבותם׃ unto their fathers.

35 H6113 בהעצר is shut up, H8064 שׁמים When heaven H3808 ולא no H1961 יהיה and there is H4306 מטר rain, H3588 כי because H2398 יחטאו they have sinned H6419 לך והתפללו against thee; if they pray H413 אל toward H4725 המקום place, H2088 הזה this H3034 והודו and confess H853 את H8034 שׁמך thy name, H2403 ומחטאתם from their sin, H7725 ישׁובון and turn H3588 כי when H6031 תענם׃ thou afflictest

36 H859 ואתה thou H8085 תשׁמע Then hear H8064 השׁמים in heaven, H5545 וסלחת and forgive H2403 לחטאת the sin H5650 עבדיך of thy servants, H5971 ועמך and of thy people H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H3588 כי that H3384 תורם thou teach H853 את H1870 הדרך way H2896 הטובה good H834 אשׁר them the H1980 ילכו wherein they should walk, H5414 בה ונתתה and give H4306 מטר rain H5921 על upon H776 ארצך thy land, H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתתה thou hast given H5971 לעמך to thy people H5159 לנחלה׃ for an inheritance.

37 H7458 רעב famine, H3588 כי If H1961 יהיה there be H776 בארץ in the land H1698 דבר pestilence, H3588 כי if H1961 יהיה there be H7711 שׁדפון blasting, H3420 ירקון mildew, H697 ארבה locust, H2625 חסיל caterpillar; H3588 כי if H1961 יהיה there be H3588 כי if H6887 יצר besiege H341 לו איבו their enemy H776 בארץ them in the land H8179 שׁעריו of their cities; H3605 כל whatsoever H5061 נגע plague, H3605 כל whatsoever H4245 מחלה׃ sickness

38 H3605 כל What H8605 תפלה prayer H3605 כל soever H8467 תחנה and supplication H834 אשׁר soever H1961 תהיה be H3605 לכל by any H120 האדם man, H3605 לכל by all H5971 עמך thy people H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H834 אשׁר which H3045 ידעון shall know H376 אישׁ every man H5061 נגע the plague H3824 לבבו of his own heart, H6566 ופרשׂ and spread forth H3709 כפיו his hands H413 אל toward H1004 הבית house: H2088 הזה׃ this

39 H859 ואתה thou H8085 תשׁמע Then hear H8064 השׁמים in heaven H4349 מכון place, H3427 שׁבתך thy dwelling H5545 וסלחת and forgive, H6213 ועשׂית and do, H5414 ונתת and give H376 לאישׁ to every man H3605 ככל according to H1870 דרכיו his ways, H834 אשׁר whose H3045 תדע thou knowest; H853 את H3824 לבבו heart H3588 כי (for H859 אתה thou, H3045 ידעת knowest H905 לבדך thou only, H853 את H3824 לבב the hearts H3605 כל of all H1121 בני the children H120 האדם׃ of men;)

40 H4616 למען That H3372 יראוך they may fear H3605 כל thee all H3117 הימים the days H834 אשׁר that H1992 הם they H2416 חיים live H5921 על in H6440 פני in H127 האדמה the land H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתתה thou gavest H1 לאבתינו׃ unto our fathers.

41 H1571 וגם Moreover H413 אל concerning H5237 הנכרי a stranger, H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא not H5971 מעמך of thy people H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H1931 הוא H935 ובא but cometh H776 מארץ H7350 רחוקה H4616 למען H8034 שׁמך׃

42 H3588 כי (For H8085 ישׁמעון they shall hear of H853 את H8034 שׁמך name, H1419 הגדול thy great H853 ואת H3027 ידך hand, H2389 החזקה and of thy strong H2220 וזרעך arm;) H5186 הנטויה and of thy stretched out H935 ובא when he shall come H6419 והתפלל and pray H413 אל toward H1004 הבית house; H2088 הזה׃ this

43 H859 אתה thou H8085 תשׁמע Hear H8064 השׁמים in heaven H4349 מכון place, H3427 שׁבתך thy dwelling H6213 ועשׂית and do H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H7121 יקרא calleth H413 אליך to H5237 הנכרי the stranger H4616 למען thee for: that H3045 ידעון may know H3605 כל all H5971 עמי people H776 הארץ of the earth H853 את H8034 שׁמך thy name, H3372 ליראה to fear H853 אתך H5971 כעמך thee, as thy people H3478 ישׂראל Israel; H3045 ולדעת and that they may know H3588 כי that H8034 שׁמך thy name. H7121 נקרא is called H5921 על by H1004 הבית house, H2088 הזה this H834 אשׁר which H1129 בניתי׃ I have built,

44 H3588 כי If H3318 יצא go out H5971 עמך thy people H4421 למלחמה to battle H5921 על against H341 איבו their enemy, H1870 בדרך whithersoever H834 אשׁר whithersoever H7971 תשׁלחם thou shalt send H6419 והתפללו them, and shall pray H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H1870 דרך toward H5892 העיר the city H834 אשׁר which H977 בחרת thou hast chosen, H1004 בה והבית and the house H834 אשׁר that H1129 בנתי I have built H8034 לשׁמך׃ for thy name:

45 H8085 ושׁמעת Then hear H8064 השׁמים thou in heaven H853 את H8605 תפלתם their prayer H853 ואת H8467 תחנתם and their supplication, H6213 ועשׂית and maintain H4941 משׁפטם׃ their cause.

46 H3588 כי If H2398 יחטאו they sin H3588 לך כי against thee, (for H369 אין no H120 אדם man H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא not,) H2398 יחטא sinneth H599 ואנפת and thou be angry H5414 בם ונתתם with them, and deliver H6440 לפני them to H341 אויב the enemy, H7617 ושׁבום so that they carry them away H7617 שׁביהם captives H413 אל unto H776 ארץ the land H341 האויב of the enemy, H7350 רחוקה far H176 או or H7138 קרובה׃ near;

47 H7725 והשׁיבו and repent, H413 אל unto H3820 לבם H776 בארץ in the land H834 אשׁר whither H7617 נשׁבו they were carried captives, H8033 שׁם whither H7725 ושׁבו H2603 והתחננו and make supplication H413 אליך H776 בארץ thee in the land H7617 שׁביהם of them that carried them captives, H559 לאמר saying, H2398 חטאנו We have sinned, H5753 והעוינו and have done perversely, H7561 רשׁענו׃ we have committed wickedness;

48 H7725 ושׁבו And return H413 אליך unto H3605 בכל thee with all H3824 לבבם their heart, H3605 ובכל and with all H5315 נפשׁם their soul, H776 בארץ in the land H341 איביהם of their enemies, H834 אשׁר which H7617 שׁבו H853 אתם H6419 והתפללו and pray H413 אליך unto H1870 דרך thee toward H776 ארצם their land, H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתתה thou gavest H1 לאבותם unto their fathers, H5892 העיר the city H834 אשׁר which H977 בחרת thou hast chosen, H1004 והבית and the house H834 אשׁר which H1129 בנית I have built H8034 לשׁמך׃ for thy name:

49 H8085 ושׁמעת Then hear H8064 השׁמים in heaven H4349 מכון place, H3427 שׁבתך thy dwelling H853 את H8605 תפלתם thou their prayer H853 ואת H8467 תחנתם and their supplication H6213 ועשׂית and maintain H4941 משׁפטם׃ their cause,

50 H5545 וסלחת And forgive H5971 לעמך thy people H834 אשׁר that H2398 חטאו have sinned H3605 לך ולכל against thee, and all H6588 פשׁעיהם their transgressions H834 אשׁר wherein H6586 פשׁעו they have transgressed H5414 בך ונתתם against thee, and give H7356 לרחמים them compassion H6440 לפני before H7617 שׁביהם them who carried them captive, H7355 ורחמום׃ that they may have compassion on

51 H3588 כי For H5971 עמך thy people, H5159 ונחלתך and thine inheritance, H1992 הם they H834 אשׁר which H3318 הוצאת thou broughtest forth H4714 ממצרים H8432 מתוך from the midst H3564 כור of the furnace H1270 הברזל׃ of iron:

52 H1961 להיות may be H5869 עיניך That thine eyes H6605 פתחות open H413 אל unto H8467 תחנת the supplication H5650 עבדך of thy servant, H413 ואל and unto H8467 תחנת the supplication H5971 עמך of thy people H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H8085 לשׁמע to hearken H413 אליהם unto H3605 בכל them in all H7121 קראם that they call H413 אליך׃ for unto

53 H3588 כי For H859 אתה thou H914 הבדלתם didst separate H5159 לך לנחלה thine inheritance, H3605 מכל them from among all H5971 עמי the people H776 הארץ of the earth, H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דברת thou spakest H3027 ביד by the hand H4872 משׁה of Moses H5650 עבדך thy servant, H3318 בהוציאך when thou broughtest H853 את H1 אבתינו our fathers H4714 ממצרים H136 אדני O Lord H3068 יהוה׃ GOD.

54 H1961 ויהי And it was H3615 ככלות had made an end H8010 שׁלמה that when Solomon H6419 להתפלל of praying H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD, H853 את H3605 כל all H8605 התפלה prayer H8467 והתחנה and supplication H2063 הזאת this H6965 קם he arose H6440 מלפני from before H4196 מזבח the altar H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3766 מכרע from kneeling H5921 על on H1290 ברכיו his knees H3709 וכפיו with his hands H6566 פרשׂות spread up H8064 השׁמים׃ to heaven.

55 H5975 ויעמד And he stood, H1288 ויברך and blessed H853 את H3605 כל all H6951 קהל the congregation H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H6963 קול voice, H1419 גדול with a loud H559 לאמר׃ saying,

56 H1288 ברוך Blessed H3068 יהוה the LORD, H834 אשׁר that H5414 נתן hath given H4496 מנוחה rest H5971 לעמו unto his people H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H1696 דבר he promised: H3808 לא there hath not H5307 נפל failed H1697 דבר word H259 אחד one H3605 מכל of all H1697 דברו promise, H2896 הטוב his good H834 אשׁר which H1696 דבר he promised H3027 ביד by the hand H4872 משׁה of Moses H5650 עבדו׃ his servant.

57 H1961 יהי be H3068 יהוה The LORD H430 אלהינו our God H5973 עמנו with H834 כאשׁר us, as H1961 היה he was H5973 עם with H1 אבתינו our fathers: H408 אל let him not H5800 יעזבנו leave H408 ואל us, nor H5203 יטשׁנו׃ forsake

58 H5186 להטות That he may incline H3824 לבבנו our hearts H413 אליו unto H1980 ללכת him, to walk H3605 בכל in all H1870 דרכיו his ways, H8104 ולשׁמר and to keep H4687 מצותיו his commandments, H2706 וחקיו and his statutes, H4941 ומשׁפטיו and his judgments, H834 אשׁר which H6680 צוה he commanded H853 את H1 אבתינו׃ our fathers.

59 H1961 ויהיו be H1697 דברי my words, H428 אלה And let these H834 אשׁר wherewith H2603 התחננתי I have made supplication H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD, H7126 קרבים H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God H3119 יומם day H3915 ולילה and night, H6213 לעשׂות that he maintain H4941 משׁפט the cause H5650 עבדו of his servant, H4941 ומשׁפט and the cause H5971 עמו of his people H3478 ישׂראל Israel H1697 דבר as the matter H3117 יום at all times, H3117 ביומו׃ shall require:

60 H4616 למען That H3045 דעת may know H3605 כל all H5971 עמי the people H776 הארץ of the earth H3588 כי that H3068 יהוה the LORD H1931 הוא H430 האלהים God, H369 אין none H5750 עוד׃ else.

61 H1961 והיה therefore be H3824 לבבכם Let your heart H8003 שׁלם perfect H5973 עם with H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God, H1980 ללכת to walk H2706 בחקיו in his statutes, H8104 ולשׁמר and to keep H4687 מצותיו his commandments, H3117 כיום day. H2088 הזה׃ as at this

62 H4428 והמלך And the king, H3605 וכל and all H3478 ישׂראל Israel H5973 עמו with H2076 זבחים him, offered H2077 זבח sacrifice H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

63 H2076 ויזבח offered H8010 שׁלמה And Solomon H853 את H2077 זבח a sacrifice H8002 השׁלמים of peace offerings, H834 אשׁר which H2076 זבח he offered H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD, H1241 בקר oxen, H6242 עשׂרים and twenty H8147 ושׁנים two H505 אלף thousand H6629 וצאן sheep. H3967 מאה and a hundred H6242 ועשׂרים and twenty H505 אלף thousand H2596 ויחנכו dedicated H853 את H1004 בית the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD. H4428 המלך So the king H3605 וכל and all H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel

64 H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא The same H6942 קדשׁ hallow H4428 המלך did the king H853 את H8432 תוך the middle H2691 החצר of the court H834 אשׁר that H6440 לפני before H1004 בית the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD: H3588 כי for H6213 עשׂה he offered H8033 שׁם there H853 את H5930 העלה burnt offerings, H853 ואת H4503 המנחה and meat offerings, H853 ואת H2459 חלבי and the fat H8002 השׁלמים of the peace offerings: H3588 כי because H4196 מזבח altar H5178 הנחשׁת the brazen H834 אשׁר that H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H6996 קטן too little H3557 מהכיל to receive H853 את H5930 העלה the burnt offerings, H853 ואת H4503 המנחה and meat offerings, H853 ואת H2459 חלבי and the fat H8002 השׁלמים׃ of the peace offerings.

65 H6213 ויעשׂ held H8010 שׁלמה Solomon H6256 בעת time H1931 ההיא And at that H853 את H2282 החג a feast, H3605 וכל and all H3478 ישׂראל Israel H5973 עמו with H6951 קהל congregation, H1419 גדול him, a great H935 מלבוא from the entering in H2574 חמת of Hamath H5704 עד unto H5158 נחל the river H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God, H7651 שׁבעת seven H3117 ימים days H7651 ושׁבעת and seven H3117 ימים days, H702 ארבעה fourteen H6240 עשׂר fourteen H3117 יום׃ days.

66 H3117 ביום day H8066 השׁמיני On the eighth H7971 שׁלח he sent H853 את H5971 העם the people H1288 ויברכו away: and they blessed H853 את H4428 המלך the king, H1980 וילכו and went H168 לאהליהם unto their tents H8056 שׂמחים joyful H2896 וטובי and glad H3820 לב of heart H5921 על for H3605 כל all H2896 הטובה the goodness H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה had done H3068 יהוה the LORD H1732 לדוד for David H5650 עבדו his servant, H3478 ולישׂראל and for Israel H5971 עמו׃ his people.
