1 Chronicles 28:3-6

  3 H430 והאלהים But God H559 אמר said H3808 לי לא unto me, Thou shalt not H1129 תבנה build H1004 בית a house H8034 לשׁמי for my name, H3588 כי because H376 אישׁ a man H4421 מלחמות of war, H859 אתה thou H1818 ודמים blood. H8210 שׁפכת׃ and hast shed

  4 H977 ויבחר chose H3069 יהוה   H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3605 בי מכל me before all H1004 בית the house H1 אבי of my father H1961 להיות to be H4428 למלך king H5921 על over H3478 ישׂראל Israel H5769 לעולם forever: H3588 כי for H3063 ביהודה Judah H977 בחר he hath chosen H5057 לנגיד the ruler; H1004 ובבית and of the house H3063 יהודה of Judah, H1004 בית the house H1 אבי of my father; H1121 ובבני and among the sons H1 אבי of my father H7521 בי רצה he liked H4427 להמליך me to make king H5921 על over H3605 כל all H3478 ישׂראל׃ Israel:

  5 H3605 ומכל   H1121 בני my sons, H3588 כי (for H7227 רבים me many H1121 בנים sons,) H5414 נתן hath given H3068 לי יהוה the LORD H977 ויבחר he hath chosen H8010 בשׁלמה Solomon H1121 בני my son H3427 לשׁבת to sit H5921 על upon H3678 כסא the throne H4438 מלכות of the kingdom H3068 יהוה of the LORD H5921 על over H3478 ישׂראל׃ Israel.

  6 H559 ויאמר And he said H8010 לי שׁלמה unto me, Solomon H1121 בנך thy son, H1931 הוא he H1129 יבנה shall build H1004 ביתי my house H2691 וחצרותי and my courts: H3588 כי for H977 בחרתי I have chosen H1121 בו לי לבן him my son, H589 ואני and I H1961 אהיה will be H1 לו לאב׃ his father.
