Godbey⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁹ Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Arise, and take thy bed, and walk about? ¹⁰ But in order that you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins ¹¹ (He says to the paralytic), I say unto thee, Arise, take thy bed, and go into thy house. ¹² And he arose immediately, and having taken the bed, went out before them all. So that all were astonished, and glorified God, saying, Never have we seen it after this sort.
