Godbey⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ On many occasions and in many ways in the olden time, God having spoken to the fathers through the prophets, at the last of these days has spoken to us through his Son, ² whom he put forth the heir of all things, and through whom he created the ages; ³ who being the brightness of his glory, and the character of his person, and holding up all things by the word of his power, having made purgation of the sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; ⁴ being so much greater than the angels, that he has inherited a name so much more excellent than they.
