ECB⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁸ I hear the reproach of Moab and the revilings of the sons of Ammon - whereby they reproach my people, and greaten against their border: ⁹ so, I live - an oracle of Yah Veh Sabaoth Elohim of Yisra El. Surely Moab is as Sedom and the sons of Ammon as Amorah - the possession of nettles and saltpits - an eternal desolation: the survivors of my people plunder them and the remnant of my goyim inherit them. ¹⁰ This is for their pomp, because they reproach and greaten against the people of Yah Veh Sabaoth. ¹¹ Yah Veh is awesome against them: for he emaciates all the elohim of the earth; and every man prostrates to him from his place - all the islands of the goyim.
