1 Ho to them who fabricate mischief - who work evil on their beds! In the light of the morning, they work because it is in the el of their hand:
2 and they desire fields and strip them; and houses, and bear them away: and oppress a mighty and his house - even a man and his inheritance.
3 So thus says Yah Veh: Behold, I fabricate an evil against this family from which you neither depart your necks nor go haughtily: for this is a time of evil.
4 In that day, one takes a proverb against you and laments with a lamentation of lamentations and says, In ravaging, we are ravaged: he changes the allotment of my people. How he removes it from me! In restoring, he allots our fields.
5 So you have no one to cast a cord by pebble in the congregation of Yah Veh:
6 you drip* not; they drip: they drip not to you, they remove not shame. *drip: as in dripping words.
7 The house of Yaaqov says, Becomes the spirit of Yah Veh strait? Are these his exploits? My words, well-please they not him who walks straight?
8 From yesterday my people rise as an enemy: you strip the mighty mantle with the clothes from them who pass by confidently as men returning from war:
9 you expel the women of my people from their houses of delights; from their sucklings you take away my majesty eternally.
10 Rise and depart; for this not rest: because of foulness, it despoils you - a forceful despoiling.
11 If a man walking with spirit/wind and with falsehood lies, saying, I drip to you of wine and of intoxicants; he drips to this people.

In gathering, I gather Yaaqov - all of you; in gathering, I gather the survivors of Yisra El; I set them together as the flock of the fold; as the drove among their fold: they quake because of humanity. 13 The separater ascends at their face: they separate and pass through the portal; yes, they go through it: and their sovereign passes at their face, and Yah Veh at their head.
