4 they beautify with silver and with gold; they strengthen with nails and with hammers so that it wiggles not:
5 round as the palm tree, but word not: in bearing, they bear, because they pace not. Awe them not, for they vilify not; yes, it is not in them to well-please.
6 Because there is no one like you, O Yah Veh; you are great, and your name is great in might.
7 Who awes you not, O Sovereign of goyim? For it becomes you: for among all the wise of the goyim, and in all their sovereigndoms, there is no one like you.
8 And as one, they are brutish and foolish: the tree is a discipline of vanities.
9 They bring expanded silver from Tarshish and gold from Uphaz - the work of the engraver and of the hands of the refiner: blue and purple is their robe: they are all the work of wise.
