36 And the angel of Yah Veh goes and smites a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the camp of Ashshur: and they start early in the morning, and behold, they are all dead carcases.
37 And Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur pulls stakes, and goes and returns and settles at Nineveh.
38 And so be it, as he prostrates in the house of Nisroch his elohim, that his sons Adram Melech and Shareser smite him with the sword; and they escape into the land of Ararat: and Esar Chaddon his son reigns in his stead.
