3 and of the fruit of the tree midst the garden, Elohim says, Neither eat thereof, nor touch, lest you die.
4 And the serpent says to the woman, In dying, you die not:
5 for Elohim knows that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes open and you, being as Elohim, know good and evil.
6 And the woman sees the tree is good for food and desirable to the eyes and a tree to desire to comprehend; and she takes of the fruit thereof and eats; and also gives to her man with her; and he eats.
7 And the eyes of the two open and they know they are naked; and they sew fig leaves together and work themselves girdles.
