9 Two are better than one because they have a good hire for their toil;
10 for if they fall, the one raises his companion: but woe to the one when he falls, who has no second to raise him.
11 Yes, if two lie together, they heat; but how warms the one?
12 And if one prevails against him, two withstand him: a triple thread is not quickly torn.
