HOSHEA REIGNS OVER YISRA EL
In the twelfth year of Achaz sovereign of Yah Hudah Hoshea the son of Elah begins to reign in Shomeron over Yisra El nine years: 2 and he works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh; but not as the sovereigns of Yisra El at his face. 3 Shalmaneser sovereign of Ashshur ascends against him; and Hoshea becomes his servant and returns him offerings: 4 and the sovereign of Ashshur finds conspiracy in Hoshea: for he sends angels to So the sovereign of Misrayim and holocausts no offering to the sovereign of Ashshur as year by year: and the sovereign of Ashshur restrains him and binds him in the house of prison: 5 and the sovereign of Ashshur ascends to all the land and ascends to Shomeron and besieges it three years. 6
YISRA EL EXILED
In the ninth year of Hoshea the sovereign of Ashshur captures Shomeron and exiles Yisra El to Ashshur; and sets them in Halach and in Habor by the river Gozan and in the cities of the Madaim. 7 And so be it, the sons of Yisra El sin against Yah Veh their Elohim - who ascended them from the land of Misrayim from under the hand of Paroh sovereign of Misrayim - and they awe other elohim 8 which they work: and walk in the statutes of the goyim whom Yah Veh dispossessed from the face of the sons of Yisra El and from the sovereigns of Yisra El: 9 and the sons of Yisra El covertly work words that are not right against Yah Veh their Elohim: and they build bamahs in all their cities from the tower of the guards to the fortified city: 10 and they station monoliths and asherim in every high hill and under every green tree: 11 and incense there in all the bamahs as the goyim whom Yah Veh exiled from their face; and work evil words to vex Yah Veh: 12 and serve idols, whereof Yah Veh said to them, Work not this word! 13 And Yah Veh witnesses against Yisra El and against Yah Hudah, by the hand of all the prophets and by all the seers, saying, Turn from your evil ways and guard my misvoth and my statutes, according to all the torah I misvahed your fathers - which I send to you by the hand of my servants the prophets. 14 And they hearken not, and harden their necks, as the neck of their fathers, who trusted not in Yah Veh their Elohim: 15 and they refuse his statutes and his covenant which he cut with their fathers and his witnesses which he witnessed against them; and they go after vanity and become vain and go after the goyim all around them - to whom Yah Veh misvahed to not work like them: 16 and they leave all the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim; and work moltens - two calves and work an asherah and prostrate to all the host of the heavens and serve Baal: 17 and they pass their sons and their daughters through the fire; and divine divination and prognostications and sell themselves to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh - to vex him. 18 So Yah Veh angers mightily at Yisra El and turns them aside from his face: none survive except only, the scion of Yah Hudah: 19 Yah Hudah also guards not the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim but walks in the statutes Yisra El works. 20 And Yah Veh refuses all the seed of Yisra El and humbles them; and gives them into the hand of plunderers until he casts them from his face: 21 for he rips Yisra El from the house of David; and they have Yarob Am the son of Nebat reign: and Yarob Am banishes Yisra El from going after Yah Veh and has them sin a great sin: 22 and the sons of Yisra El walk in all the sins Yarob Am works: they turn not aside from them; 23 until Yah Veh turns Yisra El aside from his face, as he worded by the hand of all his servants the prophets: thus Yisra El is exiled from their own soil to Ashshur to this day. 24
GOYIM SETTLE IN SHOMERON
And the sovereign of Ashshur brings them from Babel and from Kuth and from Avva and from Hamath and from Sepharvayim; and sets them in the cities of Shomeron in the stead of the sons of Yisra El: and they possess Shomeron and settle in the cities thereof. 25 And so be it, at the beginning of their settling there, they awe not Yah Veh: and Yah Veh sends lions among them to slaughter among them. 26 And they say to the sovereign of Ashshur saying, The goyim you exiled and set in the cities of Shomeron know not the judgment of the Elohim of the land: and he sends lions among them: and behold, they deathify them, because they know not the judgment of the Elohim of the land. 27 And the sovereign of Ashshur misvahs, saying, Walk one of the priests here whom you exiled from there; and have them go and settle there and have him direct the judgment of the Elohim of the land. 28 And one of the priests they exile from Shomeron comes and settles in Beth El; and directs them how to awe Yah Veh: 29 and goyim by goyim, they work their own elohim and set them in the houses of the bamahs the Shomeroniy work - goyim by goyim in the cities wherein they settle: 30 and the men of Babel work Sukkoth Benoth; and the men of Kuth work Nergal; and the men of Hamath work Ashima; 31 and the Avviy work Nibchaz and Tartaq; and the Sepharviy burn their sons in the fire to Adram Melech and Anam Melech the elohim of the Sepharvayim. 32 And they awe Yah Veh and works to themselves - to the end of them priests of the bamahs who work for them in the houses of the bamahs. 33 They awe Yah Veh and served their own elohim after the judgment of the goyim whom they exiled from thence. 34 To this day they work after the former judgments: they neither awe Yah Veh nor work after their statutes - or after their judgments or after the torah and misvah Yah Veh misvahed the sons of Yaaqov - on whom he set the name, Yisra El: 35 with whom Yah Veh cut a covenant and misvahed them, saying, Neither awe other elohim nor prostrate yourselves to them nor serve them nor sacrifice to them: 36 but Yah Veh who ascended you from the land of Misrayim with great force and spread arm, awe him; to him, prostrate; to him, sacrifice: 37 and the statutes and the judgments and the torah and the misvah he inscribed for you, guard to work all days; and awe not other elohim: 38 and forget not the covenant I cut with you and awe not other elohim: 39 but awe Yah Veh your Elohim: and he rescues you from the hand of all your enemies. 40 And they hearken not but they work after their former judgment: 41 and these goyim awe Yah Veh and serve their sculptiles - both their sons and sons of their sons: as their fathers worked, thus work they to this day.
