YISRA EL DESTROYS THE MONOLITHS, ASHERIM, AND BAMAHS
And all this is finished, all the Yisra Eliy they find go to the cities of Yah Hudah and break the monoliths and cut down the asherim and pull down the bamahs and the sacrifice altars from all Yah Hudah and Ben Yamin and in Ephrayim and Menash Sheh until they finish them off: and all the sons of Yisra El return, every man to his possession, to their own cities. 2 And Yechizqi Yah stations the allotments of the priests and the Leviym by their allotments - every man according to the mouth of his service: the priests and Leviym for holocausts and for shelamim, to minister and to spread hands and to halal in the portals of the camps of Yah Veh: 3 and the allotment of the acquisition of the sovereign is for the holocausts - for the morning and evening holocausts and the holocausts for the shabbaths and for the new moons and for the festivals as inscribed in the torah of Yah Veh. 4 And he says to the people who settle in Yeru Shalem to give the allotment of the priests and the Leviym to strengthen them in the torah of Yah Veh. 5 And as the word breaks, the sons of Yisra El abound the firstlings of crop - juice and oil and honey and of all the produce of the field; and they bring the tithe of all in abundance. 6 And the sons of Yisra El and Yah Hudah who settle in the cities of Yah Hudah also bring the tithe of oxen and flock and the tithe of holies hallowed to Yah Veh their Elohim; and give them by heaps. 7 In the third month they begin to lay the foundation of the heaps and finish them in the seventh month. 8 And Yechizqi Yah and the governors come and see the heaps; and they bless Yah Veh and his people Yisra El. 9 And Yechizqi Yah inquires with the priests and the Leviym concerning the heaps: 10 and Azar Yah the head priest of the house of Sadoq says to him saying, Since bringing the exaltments into the house of Yah Veh, we satisfy ourselves and an abundance remains: for Yah Veh blesses his people; and this great multitude remains. 11 And Yechizqi Yah says to prepare chambers in the house of Yah Veh - and they prepare: 12 and they trustworthily bring the exaltments and the tithes and the holies over which Konan Yah the Leviy is eminent and Shimi his brother is the second. 13 And Yechi El and Azaz Yah and Nachath and Asa El and Yerimoth and Yah Zabad and Eli El and Yismach Yah and Machath and Bena Yah are overseers under the hand of Konan Yah and Shimi his brother - at the mandate of Yechizqi Yah the sovereign and Azar Yah the eminent of the house of Elohim. 14 And Qore the son of Yimlah the Leviy the porter toward the rising, is over the voluntaries of Elohim - to give the exaltments of Yah Veh and the holies. 15 And at his hand: Eden and Min Yamin and Yah Shua and Shema Yah, Amar Yah and Shechan Yah in the cities of the priests, in their trust, to give to their brothers by allotments, as well to the great as to the small: 16 beside their genealogized males from sons of three years and upward - to every one who enters the house of Yah Veh for his daily word for their day by day service in their guards according to their allotments: 17 both to the genealogized of the priests by the house of their fathers and the Leviym from sons of twenty years and upward - in their guards by their allotments: 18 and to the genealogized - of all their toddlers, their women and their sons and their daughters, throughout all the congregation: for in their trust, they hallow themselves in holiness. 19 And of the sons of Aharon the priests in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, city by city; the men appointed by name to give portions to all the males among the priests - to all the genealogized among the Leviym. 20 And thus Yechizqi Yah works throughout all Yah Hudah; and works good and straight and truth at the face of Yah Veh his Elohim: 21 and in every work he begins in the service of the house of Elohim and in the torah and in the misvoth - to seek his Elohim he works with all his heart and prospers. 32 1
THE SOVEREIGN OF ASHSHUR ENCAMPS AGAINST YERU SHALEM
After these words and this truth, Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur comes and enters Yah Hudah and encamps against the cut off cities; and says to split them for himself: 2 and Yechizqi Yah sees Sancherib come; and his face is to war against Yeru Shalem. 3 And he counsels with his governors and his mighty to stop the waters of the fountains outside the city: and they help him: 4 and much people gather and stop all the fountains and the wadi that overflows midst the land saying, Why come the sovereigns of Ashshur and find much water? 5 And he strengthens himself and builds all the broken wall so that it ascends to the towers; and another outer wall; and strengthens Millo the city of David: and works spears and bucklers in abundance. 6 And he gives governors of war over the people and gathers them to himself in the broadway of the portal of the city: and words to their heart, saying, 7 Strengthen! Encourage! Neither awe nor terrify at the face of the sovereign of Ashshur or at the face of all the multitude with him: for there are greater with us than with him: 8 with him - an arm of flesh; and with us - Yah Veh our Elohim to help us and to fight our wars. And the people prop on the words of Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah. 9 After this, Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur sends his servants to Yeru Shalem; - and he is by Lachish with all his reign against Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah and against all Yah Hudah at Yeru Shalem, saying, 10 Thus says Sancherib sovereign of Ashshur, Whereon confide you that you settle in the siege in Yeru Shalem? 11 Yechizqi Yah - goads he not you to give yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, saying, Yah Veh our Elohim rescues us from the palm of the sovereign of Ashshur? 12 Yechizqi Yah himself, turns he not aside his bamahs and his sacrifice altars and says to Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem, saying, Worship at the face of one sacrifice altar and incense thereon? 13 Know you not what I and my fathers work to all the people of other lands? The elohim of the goyim of those lands are they able to rescue their lands from my hand? 14 Among all the elohim of those goyim my fathers devoted, who is able rescue his people from my hand - that your Elohim is able to rescue you from my hand? 15 And now neither may Yechizqi Yah deceive you, nor goad you thus, nor yet trust him: for no elohah of any goyim or sovereigndom is able to rescue his people from my hand and from the hand of my fathers: neither your Elohim rescues you from my hand. 16 And his servants still word against Yah Veh Elohim and against his servant Yechizqi Yah: 17 and he inscribes scrolls to reproach Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El to say against him, saying, As the elohim of the goyim of other lands have not rescued their people from my hand, thus Elohim of Yechizqi Yah rescues not his people from my hand. 18 And they call out with a great voice in Yah Hudahaic to the people of Yeru Shalem on the wall - to awe them and to terrify them; and to capture the city: 19 and they word against the Elohim of Yeru Shalem as against the elohim of the people of the earth - the work of the hands of hamuanity. 20 And Yechizqi Yah the sovereign and the prophet Yesha Yah the son of Amos pray and cry to the heavens: 21 and Yah Veh sends an angel who cuts off all the mighty of valour and the eminent and governors in the camp of the sovereign of Ashshur: and he returns with shamed face to his own land. And he comes to the house of his elohim; and the offspring of his inwards fell him there with the sword: 22 and Yah Veh saves Yechizqi Yah and the settlers of Yeru Shalem from the hand of Sancherib the sovereign of Ashshur and from the hand of all others; and guides them all around. 23 And many bring offerings to Yah Veh to Yeru Shalem; and preciousnesses to Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah: so that he is lifted in the eyes of all goyim thereafter. 24 In those days, Yechizqi Yah is sick to die and prays to Yah Veh: and he says to him and he gives him an omen: 25 and Yechizqi Yah returns not according as he was dealt; for his heart lifts: and there is rage on him and on Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem: 26 and Yechizqi Yah humbles himself for the haughtiness of his heart - he and the settlers of Yeru Shalem; so that the rage of Yah Veh comes not on them in the days of Yechizqi Yah: 27 and Yechizqi Yah abounds mightily in riches and honor: and he works himself treasuries for silver and for gold and for esteemed stones and for spices and for bucklers and for all manner of instruments of desire 28 - storage for the produce of crop and juice and oil; and stalls for animal by animal and stalls for droves: 29 and he works cities and chattels of flocks and oxen in abundance: for Elohim gives him mighty much acquisition. 30 This is the same Yechizqi Yah who stopped the upper watersprings of Gichon and brought it downward - duskward of the city of David - and Yechizqi Yah prospers in all his works. 31 And thus, by the interpreters of the governors of Babel, who send to him to enquire of the omen in the land, Elohim left him, to test him, to know all that is in his heart. 32
THE DEATH OF YECHIZQI YAH
And the rest of the words of Yechizqi Yah and his mercy, behold, they are inscribed in the vision of Yesha Yah the prophet the son of Amos in the scroll of the sovereigns of Yah Hudah and Yisra El. 33 And Yechizqi Yah lies down with his fathers - entombed in the ascent of the tombs of the sons of David: and all Yah Hudah and the settlers of Yeru Shalem work him honor at his death. - and Menash Sheh his son reigns in his stead.
