And worked priests after the manner of the nations of lands? So that whoever comes to fill his hand with a steer the son of an ox and seven rams, becomes a priest of a non-elohim. ¹⁰ As for us, Yah Veh is our Elohim and we forsake him not; and the priests, who minister to Yah Veh, are the sons of Aharon and the Leviym in the work: ¹¹ and they incense to Yah Veh morning by morning and evening by evening holocausts and incense of aromatics; the arrangement bread on the pure table; and the menorah of gold with the lamps thereof to burn evening by evening: for we guard the guard of Yah Veh our Elohim; but you - you forsook him. ¹² And behold, with us - Elohim for head and his priests with blasting trumpets to blast against you. O sons of Yisra El, fight not against Yah Veh Elohim of your fathers; for you prosper not. ¹³ And Yarob Am lurks around behind them: so they are at the face of Yah Hudah and they lurk behind them: ¹⁴ and Yah Hudah turns to face back, and behold, the war is at their face and behind: and they cry to Yah Veh and the priests trumpet the trumpets: ¹⁵ and the Yah Hudiy give a shout: and the Yah Hudiy shout, and so be it, Elohim smites Yarob Am and all Yisra El at the face of Abi Yah and Yah Hudah: ¹⁶ and the sons of Yisra El flee the face of Yah Hudah: and Elohim gives them into their hand; ¹⁷ and Abi Yah and his people smite them with a great stroke: so there fall down, pierced of Yisra El, five hundred thousand chosen men. ¹⁸ And at that time, they subdue sons of Yisra El, and the sons of Yah Hudah strengthen, because they lean on Yah Veh Elohim of their fathers. ¹⁹ And Abi Yah pursues Yarob Am and captures cities from him: Beth El with the daughters thereof and Yeshanah with the daughters thereof and Ephrain with the daughters thereof. ²⁰ Yarob Am retains no force in the days of Abi Yah: and Yah Veh smites him and he dies.
