Matthew 14:15-21

Common(i) 15 When it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, "This is a remote place, and it's already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food." 16 Jesus said, "They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat." 17 They said to him, "We have only five loaves here and two fish." 18 He said, "Bring them here to me," 19 Then he commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave them to the multitudes. 20 And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over. 21 Now those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
