CLV(i)
1 Then the messenger who spoke with me is returning, and he is rousing me as a man who is being roused from his sleep."
2 And he is saying to me, What are you seeing? And I am saying, I see and behold! a lampstand, all of it of gold, and a globe on its top, and seven lamps on its seven branches, and seven tubes for the lamps which are on its top."
3 And two olive trees are over it, one on the right of the globe, and one on its left."
4 And I am answering, and am saying to the messenger who is speaking with me, saying, What are these my lord?
5 And the messenger who is speaking with me is answering and is saying to me, Do you know what these are?
6 And I am saying, No, my lord. And he is answering and speaking to me, saying, This is the word of Yahweh to Zerubbabel, saying:Not by valor, nor by vigor, but rather by My spirit, says Yahweh of hosts."
7 What are you, great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you are to be a level plain. And he shall bring forth the headstone with tumults:Grace, grace to it!"
8 And the word of Yahweh is coming to me, saying:"
9 The hands of Zerubbabel laid the foundation of this house, and his hands shall complete it. Then shall you know that Yahweh of hosts sent me to you."
10 For who despises the day of small things? And they shall rejoice and see the stone plumb in the hand of Zerubbabel. These seven are the eyes of Yahweh; they are going to and fro in the entire land.
11 Then I am answering and am saying to him, What are these two olive trees at the right of the lampstand and at its left?
12 And I am answering a second time and am saying to him, What are the two olive limbs which by means of the two golden conduits are emptying the golden oil from above them?
13 And he is speaking to me, saying, Do you not know what these are? And I am saying, No, my lord."
14 And he is saying, These are the two sons of clear oil who are standing by the Lord of the entire earth."
