Psalms 2:2-8 The kings of the earth are standing by, And the chancellors are gathered together Against Yahweh and against His Anointed, saying,

CLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ² The kings of the earth are standing by, And the chancellors are gathered together Against Yahweh and against His Anointed, saying, ³ Let us pull away their bonds, And let us fling off their ropes from us. ⁴ The One sitting in the heavens, He shall ridicule; Yahweh, He shall deride them. ⁵ Then He shall speak to them in His anger, And in His hot anger He shall fill them with panic, saying, ⁶ I will pour a libation on My King, On Zion, My holy mountain. ⁷ Let me recount the statute of Yahweh:He has said to Me, My Son are You; I, today, have begotten You. ⁸ Ask of Me, And I will give the nations as Your allotment, And as Your holding, the limits of the earth.
