CLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁴ And Hezekiah takes the letters out of the hand of the messengers, and reads them, and goes up to the house of Yahweh, and Hezekiah spreads it before Yahweh. ¹⁵ And Hezekiah prays before Yahweh, and said, `O Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, inhabiting the cherubs, You [are] Elohim Himself--Yourself alone--to all the kingdoms of the earth:You have made the heavens and the earth. ¹⁶ Incline, O Yahweh, Your ear, and hear; open, O Yahweh, Your eyes, and see; and hear You the words of Sennacherib with which he has sent him to reproach the living Elohim. ¹⁷ `Truly, O Yahweh, kings of Asshur have laid waste the nations, and their land, ¹⁸ and have put their elohims into fire, for they [are] no elohims, but work of the hands of man, wood and stone, and destroy them. ¹⁹ And now, O Yahweh our Elohim, save us, we pray You, out of his hand, and know do all kingdoms of the earth that You [are] Yahweh Elohim--Yourself alone..
