Leviticus 17 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,

1 H3068 And the Lord H1696 spoke H4872 unto Moses, H559 saying,

2 H1696 Speak H175 unto Aaron, H1121 and unto his sons, H1121 and unto all the sons H3478 of Israel, H559 and say H1697 unto them; This is the thing H3068 which the Lord H6680 has commanded, H559 saying,

3 H376 Whatever H376 man H1004 there be of the house H3478 of Israel, H7819 that kills H7794 an ox, H3775 or lamb, H5795 or goat, H4264 in the camp, H7819 or that kills H2351 it out H4264 of the camp,

4 H935 And brings H6607 it not unto the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation, H7126 to offer H7133 an offering H3068 unto the Lord H6440 before H4908 the tabernacle H3068 of the Lord; H1818 blood H2803 shall be imputed H376 unto that man; H8210 he has shed H1818 blood; H376 and that man H3772 shall be cut off H7130 from among H5971 his people:

5 H1121 To the end that the sons H3478 of Israel H935 may bring H2077 their sacrifices, H2076 which they offer H6440 in the open H7704 field, H935 evening that they may bring H3068 them unto the Lord, H6607 unto the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation, H3548 unto the priest, H2076 and offer H8002 them for peace H2077 offerings H3068 unto the Lord.

6 H3548 And the priest H2236 shall sprinkle H1818 the blood H4196 upon the altar H3068 of the Lord H6607 at the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation, H6999 and burn H2459 the fat H5207 for a sweet H7381 smell H3068 unto the Lord.

7 H2076 And they shall no more offer H2077 their sacrifices H8163 unto demons, H310 after H2181 whom they have gone a whoring. H2708 This shall be a statute H5769 for ever H1755 unto them throughout their generations.

8 H559 And you shall say H376 unto them, Whatever man H1004 there be of the house H3478 of Israel, H1616 or of the strangers H1481 which stay H8432 among H5927 you, that offers H5930 a burnt offering H2077 or sacrifice,

9 H935 And brings H6607 it not unto the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation, H6213 to offer H3068 it unto the Lord; H376 evening that man H3772 shall be cut off H5971 from among his people.

10 H376 And whatever man H1004 there be of the house H3478 of Israel, H1616 or of the strangers H1481 that stay H8432 among H398 you, that eat H1818 any manner of blood; H5414 I will evening set H6440 my face H5315 against that soul H398 that eat H1818 blood, H3772 and will cut him off H7130 from among H5971 his people.

11 H5315 For the life H1320 of the flesh H1818 is in the blood: H5414 and I have given H4196 it to you upon the altar H3722 to make an atonement H5315 for your souls: H1818 for it is the blood H3722 that makes an atonement H5315 for the soul.

12 H559 Therefore I said H1121 unto the sons H3478 of Israel, H5315 No soul H398 of you shall eat H1818 blood, H1616 neither shall any stranger H1481 that stays H8432 among H398 you eat H1818 blood.

13 H376 And whatever man H1121 there be of the sons H3478 of Israel, H1616 or of the strangers H1481 that stay H8432 among H6679 you, which hunts H6718 and catches H2416 any animal H5775 or bird H398 that may be eaten; H8210 he shall evening pour H1818 out the blood H3680 there, and cover H6083 it with dust.

14 H5315 For it is the life H1320 of all flesh; H1818 the blood H5315 of it is for the life H559 there therefore I said H1121 unto the sons H3478 of Israel, H398 You shall eat H1818 the blood H1320 of no manner of flesh: H5315 for the life H1320 of all flesh H1818 is the blood H398 there whoever eat H3772 it shall be cut off.

15 H5315 And every soul H398 that eat H5038 that which died H2966 of itself, or that which was torn H249 with animals, whether it be one of your own country, H1616 or a stranger, H3526 he shall both wash H899 his clothes, H7364 and bathe H4325 himself in water, H2930 and be unclean H6153 until the evening: H2891 then shall he be clean.

16 H3526 But if he wash H7364 them not, nor bathe H1320 his flesh; H5375 then he shall carry H5771 his iniquity.
