Leviticus 10 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire in it, and put incense on it, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which he commanded them not.

1 H5070 And Nadab H30 and Abihu, H1121 the sons H175 of Aaron, H3947 took H376 either H4289 of them his censer, H5414 and put H784 fire H2004 in it, H7760 and put H7004 incense H7126 on it, and offered H2114 strange H784 fire H6440 before H3068 the Lord, H6680 which he commanded them not.

2 H3318 And there went out H784 fire H3068 from the Lord, H398 and devoured H4191 them, and they died H6440 before H3068 the Lord.

3 H4872 Then Moses H559 said H175 unto Aaron, H3068 This is it that the Lord H1696 spoke, H559 saying, H6942 I will be sanctified H7138 in them that come near H6440 me, and before H5971 all the people H3513 I will be glorified. H175 And Aaron H1826 held his peace.

4 H4872 And Moses H7121 called H4332 Mishael H469 and Elzaphan, H1121 the sons H5816 of Uzziel H1730 the uncle H175 of Aaron, H559 and said H7126 unto them, Come near, H5375 carry H251 your brothers H6440 from before H6944 the sanctuary H2351 out H4264 of the camp.

5 H7126 So they went near, H5375 and carried H3801 them in their coats H2351 out H4264 of the camp; H4872 as Moses H1696 had said.

6 H4872 And Moses H559 said H175 unto Aaron, H499 and unto Eleazar H385 and unto Ithamar, H1121 his sons, H6544 Uncover H7218 not your heads, H6533 neither tear H899 your clothes; H4191 lest you die, H7107 and lest wrath H5712 come upon all the people: H251 but let your brothers, H1004 the whole house H3478 of Israel, H1058 bewail H8316 the burning H3068 which the Lord H8313 has kindled.

7 H3318 And you shall not go out H6607 from the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation, H4191 lest you die: H4888 for the anointing H8081 oil H3068 of the Lord H6213 is upon you. And they did H1697 according to the word H4872 of Moses.

8 H3068 And the Lord H1696 spoke H175 unto Aaron, H559 saying,

9 H8354 Do not drink H3196 wine H7941 nor strong drink, H1121 you, nor your sons H935 with you, when you go H168 into the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation, H4191 lest you die: H2708 it shall be a statute H5769 for ever H1755 throughout your generations:

10 H914 And that you may put difference H6944 between holy H2455 and unholy, H2931 and between unclean H2889 and clean;

11 H3384 And that you may teach H1121 the sons H3478 of Israel H2706 all the statutes H3068 which the Lord H1696 has spoken H3027 unto them by the hand H4872 of Moses.

12 H4872 And Moses H1696 spoke H175 unto Aaron, H499 and unto Eleazar H385 and unto Ithamar, H1121 his sons H3498 that were left, H3947 Take H4503 the food offering H3498 that remains H801 of the offerings H3068 of the Lord H801 made by fire, H398 and eat H4682 it without yeast H681 beside H4196 the altar: H6944 for it is most H6944 holy:

13 H398 And you shall eat H6918 it in the holy H4725 place, H2706 because it is your due, H1121 and your sons' H2706 due, H801 of the sacrifices H3068 of the Lord H801 made by fire: H6680 for so I am commanded.

14 H8573 And the wave H2373 breast H8641 and heave H7785 shoulder H398 shall you eat H2889 in a clean H4725 place; H1121 you, and your sons, H1323 and your daughters H2706 with you for they be your due, H1121 and your sons' H2706 due, H5414 which are given H2077 out of the sacrifices H8002 of peace offerings H1121 of the sons H3478 of Israel.

15 H8641 The heave H7785 shoulder H8573 and the wave H2373 breast H935 shall they bring H801 with the offerings made by fire H2459 of the fat, H5130 to wave H8573 it for a wave offering H6440 before H3068 the Lord; H1121 and it shall be your, and your sons' H2706 with you, by a statute H5769 for ever; H3068 as the Lord H6680 has commanded.

16 H4872 And Moses H1875 diligently H1875 sought H8163 the goat H2403 of the sin offering, H8313 and, behold, it was burnt: H7107 and he was angry H499 with Eleazar H385 and Ithamar, H1121 the sons H175 of Aaron H3498 which were left H559 alive, saying,

17 H398 Why have you not eaten H2403 the sin offering H6944 in the holy H4725 place, H6944 seeing it is most H6944 holy, H5414 and God has given H5375 it you to carry H5771 the iniquity H5712 of the congregation, H3722 to make atonement H6440 for them before H3068 the Lord?

18 H2005 Behold, H1818 the blood H935 of it was not brought H6441 in inside H6944 the holy H398 place: you should indeed H398 have eaten H6944 it in the holy H6680 place, as I commanded.

19 H175 And Aaron H1696 said H4872 unto Moses, H3117 Behold, this day H7126 have they offered H2403 their sin offering H5930 and their burnt offering H6440 before H3068 the Lord; H7122 and such things have happened H398 me: and if I had eaten H2403 the sin offering H3117 to day, H3190 should it have been accepted H5869 in the sight H3068 of the Lord?

20 H4872 And when Moses H8085 heard H3190 that, he was content.
